Xiaomi Redmi 17 (6GB RAM) Highlights
On August 6, 2026, Xiaomi also released the 6GB+128GB variant of Redmi 17 alongside the base model in Bangladesh.
The phone has two variants in total: 4GB+128GB and this 6GB+128GB version. The only difference between them is RAM, everything else, from chipset to camera to battery, is identical. The added 2GB of RAM offers improved multitasking and app switching functionality, particularly beneficial for those who constantly run multiple apps simultaneously.
In addition to RAM, the two are equipped with the same MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra SoC, the same 6.9-inch IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, and the same combination of 50MP rear and 8MP front camera. The most notable specification is the all-new 7500mAh battery that is compatible with 45W fast charging, ensuring the same great battery life as its sibling.
