It has a 6.7-inch FHD+ (1080x2340) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus, giving it a 86.8% screen to body ratio. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 (SM6475-AB) octa-core (4nm) processor with its Adreno 710 GPU and is powered by the Android 16 operating system, which is equipped with One UI 8.5.

The camera side features a triple rear camera of 50MP main camera (f/1.8), 5MP ultra-wide camera (f/2.2), macro camera 2MP, which can shoot 4K video. Up front, there's a 12MP selfie camera (f/2.2) that can be used for video calls and self-portraits.

It is powered by a 5000mAh Li-Ion battery, which can be charged using 25W fast charging (45% in 30 mins). It is splash and dust resistant with an IP64 rating, and is built with plastic back with 200 grams of weight. Security is managed with a fingerprint sensor at the side of the display, and face unlock. Connectivity equipment is 5G, dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB Type-C, but Wi-Fi is 5 instead of Wi-Fi 6.

Samsung's A-series has always been about providing users with "just enough" phone without the cost of a whopping price tag and the Galaxy A27 is no exception to that rule. It has a smooth 120Hz display and a large battery, and Samsung guarantees it'll receive long software support, more to the point than flashy stats on any spec sheet. It's not flawless, though.This time Samsung sacrificed a bit on several features such as water resistance and charging speed to keep the price down.
