Honor X5 Plus Highlights
Honor X5 Plus is an entry-level smartphone especially made for the Honor mobile fans. The top specialty of this device is that it comes with a toughened body, although there is no official screen or body protection. You can still rely on its toughness as we have seen in reviews. The front side has an older V-Notch design, but the back part looks nifty. The screen or the body dimension is slightly compacter and will be convenient to carry or hold in the hand.
Its HD+ TFT LCD screen has fine color depth and an Eye-Comfort feature. Honor used a so-called Dynamic Dimming Technology, which can detect the changing of light in the atmospheres. Based on that, it adjusts the colors and brightness automatically that is comforting to the vision of human eyes. This automatic change of light, Honor calls it “intelligent rhythmic light technology”. The 50 MP primary lens on the rear side should satisfy your needs. Its 5 MP front-facing camera is also decent in good daylight scenarios but has a tendency to soften the skin. There is up to FHD recording without any stabilization.
A 5200 mAh battery is included here, which is one of the core positive sides. You can expect around 1.5 days backup with one charge for typical usage. However, the charger is a standard 10W, and that is a disadvantage considering its price. Most phones will give you an 18W charger. Its MediaTek Helio G36 chipset isn’t particularly impressive to gamers. It is not a gaming phone at all. Many higher graphics games won’t even be installable here. But it’s smooth to handle general tasks, internet browsing, content watching, multitasking and so on. 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage capacity are adequate but, again, quite pricy in this case.
