Highlights
Xiaomi Redmi 13C is the successor of Redmi 12C, which has been very successful in the Bangladesh mobile industry. Now the question is if the new 13C model can carry on with the legacy. Starting with the design, it looks upgraded even though we see a U-Notch on the front with a relatively big bezel on the button. The back camera looks stylish, with a dual visual that packs three cameras.
The top part holds the main 50 MP lens, whereas the bottom part packs the 2 MP macro lens and 0.08 MP depth sensor. The 8 MP selfie shooter has a “soft light ring” feature, as Xiaomi calls it. It’s just one of those ring light flashes that we are seeing in some other phones in recent times. It has f2.0 aperture, HDR and can record 1080p@30fps videos. Yes, it can significantly improve the photo quality in low-light conditions. A 6.74” big screen with 90Hz refresh rate is integrated with a decent 600 nits peak brightness which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass.
There is 5000 mAh battery with the same 10W charger as the Redmi 12C, which is a clear disadvantage. It does support 18W charging but you have to buy it extra, which is very inconvenient and a clear drawback. The chipset remains the same MediaTek Helio G85. There is a 4 GB RAM base variant and an 8 GB RAM model for gamers and heavy users. There are Virtual RAM options for the same amount of built-in RAM. Apart from that, it houses 128 and 256 GB internal storage options with a dedicated MicroSD slot. The fingerprint sensor is stationed on the side.
