Highlights
It won’t be false to call the Xiaomi Poco C65 a charming smartphone. It comes in three noble colors, purple, black and blue with stylish and classic type Poco backside design. On the front, there is a subtle tiny U-Notch that houses an 8 MP camera with Ring-Light feature that can significantly improve low-light picture quality. We have seen this kind of Ring-Light feature in higher-priced phones from other brands. It’s great to have such a feature on a low-cost device. The 50 MP primary camera and the 2 MP macro lens look suitable as well.
600 nits max. brightness HD+ screen has Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is TÜV Rheinland certified for blue light reduction (eye-care supported). Apart from that, there is also a 90Hz refresh rate. The 5000 mAh battery supports an upgraded 18W fast charging. But surprise, surprise, we got a 10W charger in the box, which is one of its major drawbacks.
A MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with the combination of 6 or 8 GB RAM is one of its major attractions. There are also 6 and 8 GB added virtual RAM options, respectively. Poco C65 is an absolute winner regarding performance. Day-to-day gaming and high-end multitasking should be fully smooth. There is Android 13 and we don’t know if an Android 14 update will be available or not here. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the right side power button. USB Type-C, FM Radio with recording are also included.
