Highlights
It is arguable if you can use the word “majestic” to describe a smartphone. The Oxford Language definition of majestic is “having or showing impressive beauty or scale”. If we see it in a very abstract sense, yes, we can say the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is a majestic smartphone. But from what point of view have we come to that conclusion? First of all, look at its grand design. You won’t find too many smartphones to have the courage or boldness to create a design like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Look at its back camera setup with the subtle Leica logo, the eco-leather back, the curved screen on the front, all in such perfect harmony with an expanding aura to it. It is pure elegance, from top to bottom, finely protected with a waterproof certification, the toughest Gorilla Glass Victus front and an aluminum metal frame.
Forget about triple and quad cameras. Xiaomi is giving you Penta. A main lens, a telephoto, a periscope telephoto, an ultrawide and a TOF 3D depth sensor. With this camera, you’ll finally never have to worry about zoom or ultrawide features. Then there is the dedicated camera kit (may need to purchase separately) to give you pure photography experience. And the quality? What do you expect from a full-on price, camera centric Xiaomi phone in 2023? All we can say is that you’ll not be disappointed.
The screen size is 6.73” and the quality is QHD+ 1440 x 3200 pixels LTPO AMOLED with HDR10+ and 2600 nits peak brightness. Ok, it has 1 billion color support and not 68 billion, which is a missing feature, indeed. There is 90W fast charging as well as 50W wireless charging. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is used here as a chipset which is known as a top-flagship chipset. It has an AnTuTu v9 score of 1268538 so, no worries about performance. It’s packed with features. DisplayPort USB, tri-band Wi-Fi, barometer and color spectrum sensors are some very progressive ones that you don’t see very often. The sound quality is also excellent.
