Vivo Y15 Highlights
Vivo released the Y15 smartphone targeting the mid-budget price segment. Despite its mid-range price point, the Y15 is an average performer given its specifications. It has a 6.35-inch display with an IPS LCD panel and 720 x 1544 pixel resolution resulting in a pixel density of approximately 268 PPI. It features a large 5,000mAh non-removable battery without fast or wireless charging capabilities.
The Y15 runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with Funtouch 9 and is powered by an octa-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 processor and Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 (12nm) chipset, providing smooth performance for normal usage and some lighter gaming. It includes a triple rear camera setup with a 13MP primary camera, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro camera capable of 1080p video recording at 30fps. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera that can also record 1080p video at 30 or 120fps.
Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with WiFi Direct and hotspot, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0 with A2DP and LE, and MicroUSB 2.0 port but no USB Type-C. It also has FM radio but lacks NFC. Fingerprint scanning is provided on the rear side. The Vivo Y15 price in Bangladesh is BDT 16,990 (Official) for 4GB of RAM and 64GB of phone storage.
