Highlights
There are a few major highlights of the Vivo iQOO 12. The white color comes with a BMW Motorsport logo, as Vivo has partnered with the famous German car maker BMW to manufacture this particular model. It does look stunning and stands out in the crowd big time. Not just because it’s BMW, the design and logo both look stunning. We won’t be surprised if many buyers purchase this gadget just because of the design. The rear camera setup looks pretty unique as well. Overall, top-notch design.
The next big thing is its back camera lenses. Vivo packs a 50 MP main lens with OIS, a 64 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS as well and then another 50 MP ultrawide lens. It is offering up to 8K video recording possibilities. The selfie camera looks ordinary, with 16 MP and a maximum 1080p@30fps recording, but it has EIS. The sound quality looks great and there is an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Vivo iQOO 12 is one of the first smartphones to come with the new flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and Android 14 as well. Its international version features Funtouch OS UI, whereas the Chinese model is made with OriginOS UI. For hardcore gamers, 16 GB RAM will be more fitting, whereas the 12 GB RAM model is more than sufficient. There is up to 1 TB internal storage. The charging time with the 120W charger should be under 20 minutes.
