Walton keeps the ZENX Z3 package simple and practical. The phone itself, a USB Type-C charging cable, a SIM ejector tool and a simple user manual are all included in the box. Fast charging is not supported, but a standard charging adapter was provided as well. No frills here, just what you need to get started – straight out of the box.
Design & Build Quality
Designed for ease of use, the Walton ZENX Z3 feels comfortable to hold, even with its 6.8” display size. Measuring 168.4mm tall, 77.2mm wide and only 8.9mm thick, it's a good compromise for a large screen phone. Not the narrowest around, but definitely not the bulky. It tips the scales at 193 grams, and has a nice feel in the hand and feels sturdy and solid, but not heavy after extended use.

Walton is currently available in 3 interesting colour options: Meteor Blue, Caramel Brown or Phantom Gray. The Meteor Blue, Caramel Brown and Phantom Gray are all slightly different personalities of the phone, with Meteor Blue being cool and modern, Caramel Brown being warm and premium, and Phantom Gray being classic and understated. Regardless of the colour you choose, the phone appears to be somewhat trendy for its price range.
For a touch of a modern design, the waterdrop notch on the front helps to keep the bezels to a minimum and the screen-to-body ratio clean. The fingerprint sensor is on the side, conveniently positioned within easy reach of the thumb, for easy unlocking.
Display
The Walton ZENX Z3 features a large 6.8" IPS INCELL display, which provides you with ample space to enjoy videos, browsing and gaming. The screen's aspect ratio of 20:9 makes it tall and engaging to scroll through social media or read long articles.
The resolution is 720x1600 aka HD+, which is not Full HD, so you'll see slightly less crisp text and details as compared to sharper displays. However, it can be used for normal video watching, browsing, and messaging and still look great.
This display truly comes through in the 120Hz refresh rate, which is uncommon at this price range. Everything becomes smoother to scroll, swipe and smoothen the animation as compared to any budget phone. It's smoother and more responsive when you are using menus or when you are playing these light games.

The notch for the waterdrop keeps the front clean and modern, and reduces bezels for a more immersive viewing experience. To protect it, Walton has applied Panda Glass to provide good protection against scratches and minor falls. The brightness level is 400 nits, suitable for indoor and moderate outdoor settings, and it may not be as bright as when it's in direct sunlight.
In sum, the emphasis is among the best features of the ZENX Z3. The resolution isn't the best, but the 120Hz refresh rate makes up for it, and makes for a pretty enjoyable viewing experience for a budget smartphone.
Camera
The Walton ZENX Z3 features a single rear camera that has an f/2.2 aperture and a wide-angle lens with a 13MP resolution. It's not a multi-lens system, but Walton has squeezed in a surprisingly large amount of features. It offers autofocus, LED flash, HDR and even shooting modes such as Portrait, Night, Panorama, Pro mode, Time-Lapse and even Dual-View. The AI Scene Recognition feature automatically adjusts shooting settings according to the content being captured, and there are other useful features such as Smile Shutter, Finger Capture and a Picture Watermark option for creators.
Images are taken at 4208 x 3120 resolution and manual controls are also provided, such as exposure compensation and ISO settings for a little more creative control. The back camera can shoot up to 2560x1440 (2K) photos at 30fps as a welcome bonus on a budget camera phone.
Front-mounted is the ZENX Z3's 8MP selfie camera, while a f/2.0 aperture improves the brightness of their photos. It's a single-camera system, but is more than capable of taking sharp, well-lit selfies for sharing every day. For this price range, this is the standard maximum resolution for video recording, 1080p (1920x1080) at 30fps.
Daylight Photo:
The 13MP camera is expected to provide detailed, clear images with accurate colors and good dynamic range, particularly when using HDR mode, in good lighting conditions. For casual shooters and social media usage, outdoor and day time photography should be enjoyable.

Low-light Photo:
Low-light performance will be what you'd expect from a single sensor budget camera – a bit softer, some noise and a slower shutter speed in low light will be the norm. The dedicated Night mode should help to bring out details and clarity where it is needed, but don't look to the flagship level of clarity at night.

The camera configuration of ZENX Z3 has more to do with functionality than with hardware capabilities. It works nicely for every-day shots, outdoor photos, casual selfies and social media images. Don't think it can beat the pricey phones at night, however!
Performance & Software
The Walton ZENX Z3 is powered by a 12nm Unisoc T7250 chipset. It is an octa-core processor featuring two performance strong Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and six efficiency cores clocked at 1.6GHz, it is 64-bit. The Mali-G57 MP1 graphics card is used to render graphics.
To put it simply, the chipset is a basic one, and it's optimized for everyday tasks and not extremely high-performance. Actions such as calling, texting, surfing social networks, viewing videos and using common apps should be snappy and responsive, particularly with the 120Hz display of the phone.
However, this is not a gaming throne nor a powerhouse. Very basic games, such as Ludo, Subway Surfers or some light puzzle games will play well, but setting the resolution of the more graphics intensive games, such as PUBG Mobile or Genshin Impact, will likely entail a reduction in the game's settings, and you may occasionally experience a lag or frame drop during a high-action event. If you're a gamer this phone is not for you.

The ZENX Z3 features the latest Android 16 operating system with all its features, security updates, and sleek, modern user interface. There's also some handy extra features in Walton's mobile app, such as Dynamic Bar, Smart Touch, Gestures, Edge Panel and Call Recording, features that make things easier without making things more complicated. Other preloaded apps such as ChatGPT and Gemini also enable the user to have easy access to AI tools.
In summary, it's a performance that's ideal for students who don't need to do much besides talk, browse and play the games on the device, as well as for everyday users. But it's not a gaming and multitasking machine.
Battery & Software
At 5000mAh Li-Polymer, the Walton ZENX Z3 is fueled by a decent battery. The Walton ZENX Z3 features a solid 5000mAh Li-Polymer battery, and it's here that the smartphone really comes into its own. This battery should easily last a full day of checking messages, browsing social media, watching videos and making calls, and will likely last for the second day if used sparingly.
As it's common on the majority of smartphones these days, the battery is fixed, which helps maintain the design's thinness and strength. The charging is done via the convenient, reversible and widely-used USB Type-C 2.0 port.

But, be aware of one thing, the ZENX Z3 is not compatible with fast charging. The capacity of the battery is quite large, however, it will take a considerable amount of time to charge the battery from empty. This may not be a big deal for you if you have to make quick top-ups before going out.
In terms of battery life, it's a solid advantage of this telephone, ensuring that you can use it throughout the day without worrying about frequent charging.
Walton ZENX Z3 Price in Bangladesh
The Walton ZENX Z3 is officially priced at ৳14,799 in Bangladesh for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. Overall, the phone is a decent package at this price, features excellent 120Hz display, a large 5000mAh battery and dual stereo speakers. But the ZENX Z3 is in the middle-ish price range for its segment for those who want reliability but don't want to go overboard.
Final Word
For those who use the phone everyday, prioritize user-friendliness and long battery life over raw power, the Walton ZENX Z3 is a smart choice. The 5000mAh battery and 120Hz screen are its highlights at this price, albeit the typical camera and inability to fast charge does somewhat diminish the experience. For students and casual users looking to get good value for their money, this phone delivers great value for money, where it counts.
