Daylight Photo:
The 50MP main camera is great in bright daylight, delivering vibrant and decently dynamic range images. Colors are just slightly saturated and many users might actually quite like that for social media ready shots. Textures like leaves or bricks hold up well on zoom in, detail wise.

Performance & Software
I was excited to power on the Vivo Y19s Pro and see how its Unisoc T612 chipset would make my daily routine. With 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, this 12nm octa core processor could push everyday tasks such as browsing, streaming and scrolling through social media with relative ease.
But in more strenuous tasks, like gaming or switching between apps, there’s occasional stutters and slower load times. But at 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, it’s enough storage for most users to not need to upgrade, though eMMC is slower than UFS storage you find in many competitors that can affect app launch speeds and data transfer rates.
At the software end of things, the Y19s Pro boots the Android 15 with Vivo's Funtouch OS 15 overlay on top. Funtouch OS brings a lot of customization options and features like app cloning and a smart sidebar and yet it has some drawbacks.
Many users have experienced problems with laggy animations, restricted customization and persistent bloatware that cannot be removed. Also, the software is inconsistent, with some features not working, some missing and some behaving unpredictably.
To summarize, Vivo Y19s Pro is good for day to day usage but with heavier usage, things start to bump. The software experience is a mashup of useful features with frustrating quirks. The Y19s Pro is suitable for users who need a daily driver that they don’t have to think about, but don’t require intense performance, whereas more intensive users may need to look elsewhere.
Battery & Charger
Whenever I first get my hands on a Vivo Y19s Pro, I’m usually curious about the battery performance. The device came equipped with a huge 6,000mAh battery, promising long use time and didn’t disappoint. On a day to day basis, streaming videos, browsing social media and some gaming, the battery always lasted the entire day without a recharge in the middle.
The device is aided to charge by a 44W charger included in the box. The charging solution is also the fastest available. I was able to get the phone to 50% from 0% in just about an half hour and from there it took just over an hour to get to 100%. It’s reasonable given the large battery size.
I also liked that Battery Saver mode would sense when the battery was getting low and automatically prolong usage time until I could get to a charger. Vivo also says that the battery is engineered to last 80 percent capacity after 1,600 charge cycles or essentially four years with a daily charge. But reassuringly for users who want to keep the device for a while, it has longevity.
