Story Hightlights
Tecno is hoping to make waves again with its new product in the Pova brand, the Tecno Pova Curve. The device is slim at only 7.45mm thick, and has a smooth curved design that is premium in the hand. It has a 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, and 64MP dual rear camera set under the hood.
It is all powered by a 5,500mAh battery that charges at 45W. Tecno also points out a novel no-network communication feature, which makes it unique among others. In this review, we discuss the question of whether the Pova Curve is a balance between style and trusted performance.
An In-Depth Review on Tecno Pova Curve
Tecno Pova Curve will be a slim, curved phone with an ultra-slim 7.45mm curved body and a bright 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with a MediaTek Ultimate Dimensity 7300 processor and 8GB RAM, which will ensure a stable performance in daily operation and gaming. The phone has a 64MP dual rear, 13MP selfie shooter, and features a huge 5500mAh battery with 45W fast charging. This review evaluates the performance of the The Tecno Pova Curve in terms of design, performance, and price in Bangladesh.
Box Content
This is what you get inside the Tecno Pova Curve Design box:
- Tecno Pova Curve Smartphone
- 45W Charger
- USB Type-C cable
- Protective Case
- SIM ejector tool
- User manual

Tecno has included everything to start with the Pova Curve in the box. Included with the phone itself will be a 45W fast charger and a USB Type-C cable to make quick top-ups. Tecno comes also with a clear protective cover and an already attached screen protector to ensure that the thin curvy design is not scratched or dropped. The user manual and warranty card are well packed in standard paperwork. There is also a SIM ejector tool which completes an entire package of helpful in-box accessories.
Design & Build Quality
The Tecno Pova Curve is instantly distinctive as it features an ultra-slim profile of 7.45mm, and curved edges that provide it with a high-end in-hand feel. The phone is light with a weight of 177 grams and is easy to carry in pockets and can be used one-handedly in the tightest of places. The rear side is sci-fi and has eye-catching patterns and prints which tend to catch a glimpse. Although the build is sleek, the rear camera module sticks out a little making the phone wobble on flat surfaces. The greenish tinted bundled TPU case does not completely address this problem but does provide a certain degree of protection.
Our review unit was the Neon Cyan model, which is more greenish in reality. Tecno also provides the phone with Greek Black and Magic Silver, which provides the user with several options. The frame with a shiny side is a bit of a classy touch and when combined with the case it acquires a striped look which adds more to the appearance.

The position of the buttons is convenient, the power button and volume keys are located on the right, they are touchable and accessible. The phone is topped with an infrared port and a microphone, which is used to control home appliances. The lower part is more active, with a USB Type-C port, another microphone, clear-sounding loudspeaker, and the dual SIM tray.
But it lacks a microSD card reader or 3.5mm headphone jack, which other competitors such as the POCO M7 Pro still have. In spite of these shortcomings, the Tecno Pova Curve provides a sleek, well-balanced design that is well-modernized and sensible to use in daily life.
Display
The Tecno Pova Curve comes with a sizable 6.78-inch Curved AMOLED display, making it taller than rivals like the iQOO Z10x and POCO M7 Pro. The panel delivers deep blacks, vibrant colours, and good contrast, ensuring that text and visuals appear sharp and punchy. Watching videos and browsing photos is enjoyable, thanks to the screen’s clarity and smoothness, while the 144Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and casual gaming feel fluid. The display also supports Widevine L1, although Netflix playback is limited to non-HDR FHD content. On YouTube, however, you can enjoy videos up to 4K HDR, making streaming a visually rich experience.
One of the standout aspects of the Pova Curve’s display is its brightness. With a peak output of 1,300 nits and Tecno’s Outdoor Booster feature, the screen remains readable even under strong sunlight. During outdoor use, including bright treks and commutes, the display stayed clear and vibrant without any significant glare issues. Gorilla Glass 5 adds an extra layer of reassurance against scratches and minor drops, which complements the phone’s slim design well.

Colours appear lively without being oversaturated, and viewing angles are wide enough that you don’t lose details or hues when tilting the phone. Whether you’re streaming videos, scrolling social media, or playing casual games, the screen delivers consistent performance. Overall, the Tecno Pova Curve’s display balances size, brightness, and colour accuracy effectively, offering an immersive visual experience that suits both indoor and outdoor usage, all while keeping the high refresh rate in play for smooth daily interactions.
Camera
The Tecno Pova Curve has a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary camera in a big circular module on the backside, which emphasizes its dimensions in comparison with competitors, such as POCO M7 Pro and iQOO Z10x. The 1/1.73-inch sensor with the f/1.8 aperture gathers a lot of light, and details are captured in bright and saturated daylight shots in close-to-natural colours.
Daylight Photo:
Daylight shots are pretty, but a bit smoother when zoomed in you will see less detail in leaves and building surfaces and window reflection. Nevertheless, the shots are appealing to the naked eye because of the HDR processing and colour vibrancy.

Low-light Photo:
During low-light, it is possible to activate the Super Night Mode which enhances the exposure and clarity. As an example, the signs of metro stations are readable better than ordinary low-light photos. Background blur is more pronounced than on the iQOO Z10x, and it creates a distinct bokeh, although it may appear unnaturally artificial in certain places. The edge detecting is generally effective except at finer details around the edges of the subjects.
The 13MP front camera works fine in the daytime providing warm tones, good exposure, and balanced colours in selfies. When outside, the faces and the background are visible, and when inside, the selfies may be softer with a bit of washed-out colours. Indoor selfies might not be as sharp as the competitors, and the competitors such as the iQOO Z10x will have more detailed and cooler-colored pictures.

Both cameras have video recording which supports 4K 30FPS. The primary camera has quick autofocus and acceptable stability, but lacks OIS, and it is a good option in situations when you need to use the camera to capture video without extra features.
In general, the Tecno Pova Curve strikes a balance between bright daylight photography, usable low-light photography, and flexible 4K video, with self-portraits being good in the open but possibly being better in the studio. There are some minor blur and edge-detection problems that can be noticed but do not distract the overall camera experience.
Performance & Software
The Tecno Pova Curve uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset manufactured on a 4nm process and with a maximum frequency of 2.5GHz, which is an established performer in the midrange market. During our tests, the phone coped with daily tasks without any problems, including launching apps and multitasking and scrolling. It supports up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, such as 8GB extended RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Although it does not have an expandable storage, and the newer standards such as UFS 3.1 or LPDDR5x RAM as in other competitors such as the iQOO Z10x and POCO M7 Pro would have been a nice addition, the Pova Curve still provides consistent performance. It also outperformed the two competitors even in our Burnout throttling test.
The Curve is fine when it comes to playing casual games, and it can handle the heavier games. BGMI played at Ultra frame rates and Low graphics settings and COD Mobile performed equally well. The Android 15-based HIOS 15 software has contributed a lot to the smoothness. The UI is simple but rich in features, including the ability to uninstall an app, customizing the icon theme with Vision Art, and sidebars that show the most recent files and favourite apps. Such features as floating windows, multitasking with a split-screen, and App Twin to open two accounts simultaneously are practical.

HIOS 15 also introduces AI-based text and voice summaries, translation, document analysis, math problem solving, and a writing assistant, and the device assistant, Ella voice. Although these are also helpful, they can be used differently, and experience can be different.
One of the most notable is the Intelligent Hub System, allowing users to call two Tecno phones without cellular connectivity via the FreeLink app, and relying on short-range communication and a short range of operation, essentially a walkie-talkie.
AnTuTu Benchmark & GeekBench Score
MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset provides the Tecno Pova Curve with impressive performance benchmarks in its segment.
The Pova Curve scored an average of 659180 in AnTuTu benchmark10 with the following distribution: CPU: 219252 GPU: 155410, Memory: 121132, and UX: 163386. In Geekbench 5, the device achieved 3,152 in multi-core performance, which is superior to other competitors such as POCO M7 Pro.

These scores show that the Pova Curve is capable of performing daily tasks and moderate gaming without any major problems and provides a comfortable user experience with no major lag.
Battery & Charger
The Tecno Pova Curve has a large 5,500mAh battery and can be charged with 45W wired fast charging, with the charger and USB-A to USB-C cable packaged with the device. In our PCMark battery test, the phone took 11 hours and 19 minutes, which is less than the rivals, such as the iQOO Z10x with 14 hours 20 minutes and the POCO M7 Pro with 17 hours 46 minutes. Nevertheless, the phone has excellent real-world performance. The battery lost just 3 percent during a 30-minute YouTube session at 50 percent brightness and volume, indicating that it can easily last all day in moderate use.
The Pova Curve performed well on long journeys like a weekend adventure in the hills without the need to refill it very often. The 45W charger is bundled, and it provides rapid charging capability, which charges the battery to 100 percent in less than an hour. The 50 percent in 15 minutes and full charge in 45 minutes is close to reality and is significantly quicker than some of its competitors in the segment, such as the iQOO Z10x which charges in over 75 minutes.

In general, the Tecno Pova Curve is a product that combines the advantages of a long battery life and fast charging, allowing users to play and use heavy applications without fear of running out of charge, and recharge quickly when required.
Tecno Pova Curve Price in Bangladesh
The Tecno Pova Curve price in Bangladesh is BDT 32,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version. It is located in the midrange category and competes with such devices as POCO M7 Pro and iQOO Z10x, providing a balance between smooth design, powerful performance, and rich feature-based software at a reasonable price.
With its Curved AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, 64MP dual rear camera, and 5,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging, the Pova Curve is a good money value in Bangladesh. The price will be reasonable to buyers who are seeking a slim, stylish smartphone that can perform their daily tasks, casual gaming, and other multimedia consumption.
By introducing such features as the support of no-network communication and AI tools in HIOS 15, Tecno makes the Pova Curve a comprehensive product that can appeal to midrange users in the domestic market.
Final Word
The Tecno Pova Curve impresses with its slim and curvy design, and performance that is trusted by the Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset. Its 64MP dual rear camera and 5,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging ensure that it is useful in everyday life, in gaming and in multimedia. Indoor selfies and a bit of unnatural bokeh can be better, but the phone provides an attractive midrange experience. It is priced reasonably in Bangladesh and has a good style, power, and features that are unique in its segment.
