A few weeks of playing with the Samsung Galaxy F56 allowed me to understand what lies under the hood of this mid-range phone in real life. Since I turned it on, the color screen and fluid functionality were the first things to be noticed, and even such operations as browsing and streaming were a pleasure to perform. I found its camera to be impressive, particularly under favorable lighting conditions, and its battery life went comfortably through the day.

It is not perfect, but the F56 takes a good balance between features and price. Today, in this review, I want to tell you my personal experience with its design, performance, camera, and price in Bangladesh and help you make a decision whether it is the right phone to get.

An In-Depth Review on Samsung Galaxy F56

The South Korean tech organization Samsung has recently released its new Samsung Galaxy F56 smartphone. Samsung Galaxy F56 comes under the category of the finest mid-range mobile available in the market by 2025. Buyers would like to read full specifications of the device before purchasing. The following section will discuss Samsung Galaxy F56 price in Bangladesh as well as the pros and cons of this phone.

Box Content

This is what you get inside the Samsung Galaxy F56 box:

  • Samsung Galaxy F56
  • USB Type-C cable
  • User manual
  • SIM tool

Upon opening the package of the Samsung Galaxy F56, it contains a minimalistic but practical package. Internally, there is the gadget itself, a USB Type-C to Type-C cable, and a SIM ejector tool. It is important to note that Samsung has decided to do away with the power adapter in the box as it is part of their new strategy which has been to minimize e-waste.

Though this is an eco-friendly strategy, it can be a hassle to use by the user who does not carry a compatible charger with him. Also, there is no protective case, which implies that users should buy such a case to protect the device.

Design & Build Quality

Samsung Galaxy F56 is stylish and modern in its design with a slim design of 7.2mm and a very light weight of about 180 grams. It has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, which is more resistant to scratches and drops, on the front. The back panel is also Gorilla Glass Victus+, which gives it a good touch and feel and does not get fingerprinted easily. The matte finish on the device lowers the glare and fingerprints on the screen which looks clean.

Although the plastic frame is light in weight, it might not reflect the same high quality as the metal ones. Nevertheless, it makes the device lightweight and durable. Flat edges and rounded corners also provide a comfortable grip, which makes the device comfortable to hold it over a long time.

Another unique aspect is the fingerprint scanner that is embedded in the display, fast and located in an ideal position. The stereo speakers of the device provide good and balanced sound which is a plus to the multimedia experience.

The Samsung Galaxy F56 has an ideal design that looks high-end, is ergonomically comfortable, and made of strong materials. Although not everyone will like the plastic frame, it does not remove much of the user experience.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy F56 has a 6.74-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display which makes it have vibrant colors and deep black. The screen has a high resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels (382 ppi density) that provides clear images on a daily routine and media consumption. 120Hz refresh rate supports scrolling and touch interactions and makes the entire experience of using the device more enjoyable.

The Vision Booster technology of Samsung automatically changes brightness and contrast to enhance visibility under different lighting conditions. The screen has a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits in High Brightness Mode, which enables it to be read even under the direct sun.

The screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, which makes the phone scratches and minor falls resistant.

Although the display is really bright and smooth, the color accuracy may seem to be slightly lower than in the higher grade AMOLED screens. Moreover, high-definition content may not be viewed well because of the lack of HDR support.

To sum up, the display of the Samsung Galaxy F56 is a quite impressive feature within its price range as it delivers the visual treat to the majority of users.

Camera

Samsung Galaxy F56 camera system provides an attractive deal to mid-range users, with a versatile hardware, along with smart software features.

The three-camera system includes a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. The primary sensor provides a clear image with good details and color accuracy. OIS provides smooth shots even when there is low light. The ultra-wide lens can be used to take panoramic shots, whereas the macro lens will enable the close-up of the objects.

Daylight Photo:

The Galaxy F56 camera system performs best in bright situations and provides clear, bright, and detailed photos. The AI improvements are effective in adjusting the exposure and the color balance to make photos look natural. The ultra-wide lens is quite detailed, although minor softness can be observed around the edges.

Low-light Photo:

The Galaxy F56 does well in low-light conditions. Its sensor is large with an OIS, which is helpful to cut noise and keep things clear. The 2MP macro sensor however performs less in low-light conditions and the images are less detailed and noisy.

The video recording features are quite powerful, providing 4K resolution at 30fps along with OIS and gyro-EIS to enhance the smooth video recording. The features of 10-bit HDR increase the dynamic range and can retain detail in highlights and shadows. Such characteristics precondition the use of the Galaxy F56 in casual videography and content creation.

This has a 12MP selfie camera, which can take good detailed selfies with HDR. It also has 10-bit HDR video recording, so the video calls and vlogs are of high quality.

The AI-enhanced modes of Samsung, including Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions, allow users to edit their photos at ease. Such characteristics are especially useful to the people who do not want to spend time on editing with the help of third-party apps.

Although the camera system is impressive in its category, the 2MP macro sensor is disappointing and it does not capture very detailed close-up shots as compared to the higher resolution sensors. Also, zooming ability is restricted by the lack of a telephoto lens, which may be a disadvantage to consumers that need to take images of distant objects on most occasions.

Performance & Software

The Galaxy F56 is loaded with the in-house Exynos 1480 chipset 4 nm process, 8 GB LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. It performs snappy, smooth in everyday use, web browsing, social media, multitasking. The medium-to-high graphic settings in games were smoothly played without evident lag on the Xclipse 530 GPU, which is the product of the RDNA 2 architecture of AMD.

Software-wise, it is released with One UI 7 based on Android 15, with 6 years of OS and security updates, which is quite an impressive record on mid-range phones . One UI arrives with a slew of features on top of a polish, with enhanced animations, privacy tools, and extensive customization through Good Lock.

Microstallings of software sometimes occur, animations are not always faultlessly smooth. Although there were no widespread reports of such, there are those that have experienced a slightly slower touch responsiveness and micro-stutters after updating their Galaxy to the new OS . These are not dealbreakers though.

All in all, the F56 offers a solid, competent performance and a well mature, update-compatible software experience, with minor UI glitches that do not adversely impact the overall seamless experience.

AnTuTu Benchmark & GeekBench Score

In its actual tests, the Galaxy F56, which uses the Exynos 1480 chipset, scored about 7,11,963points on AnTuTu v10, surpassing around 80 per cent of smartphones in its segment. This score can be attributed to its good CPU and GPU scores that make it snappy in everyday usage as well as light gaming conditions.

On GeekBench 6 benchmarks, the F56 scored roughly 1,003 in the single-core and 2,812 in the multi-core test, which is in line with other models with the Exynos 1480. These scores indicate stable multitasking performance, the efficient switching of apps and the background management.

These benchmark scores are in tandem with my practical experience. The F56 was rather quick at browsing, handling social media timelines and even playing. Although it is not flagship-level, it is definitely mid-range above its weight.

Battery & Charger

Galaxy F56 uses a reliable 5,000 mAh battery that is good enough to provide a complete day of mixed use in a streaming/browsing to gaming and calling real-life scenario. In a screen-on prolonged session, I was always able to get 6 7hours of active use.

It can be charged up to 45 W but it is not a part of the box and you will have to provide your own charger that is compatible. It was up to about 60 percent in 30 minutes and filled right up in approximately 75 minutes which is wonderful for quick morning shots or lunching up.

You may want to allocate a budget to a 45W charger in case you currently do not have one. The battery life is great, but the need to use an external power adapter can be a nuisance to some customers.

Galaxy F56 has great battery life with fast charging that can be used any day, only ensure that you use it with a fast charger to have the complete experience.

Samsung Galaxy F56 Price in Bangladesh

The Samsung Galaxy F56 price in Bangladesh is BDT 46,000 for 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage, whereas the 8GB+256GB variant sells at a price of approximately ৳50,000.

The price is reasonable considering its thin form factor, 120 Hz AMOLED screen, six-year upgrade guarantee, and 45W charging, at the same time remaining far cheaper than flagship prices. But on a budget, you can find great value hunting promotional offers (৳37K-৳40K) and avoid too costly premiums.

Final Word

Having tested Samsung Galaxy F56, I am confident in claiming that it is a balanced mid-range device. The screen is bright, the performance is smooth and the battery can last all day. Although the macro camera and the absence of a charger in the box can be considered petty drawbacks, the software experience and update promise compensate for it. And in case you seek a balanced device with all the basic functions without shortchanging the budget, the Galaxy F56 is well worth taking a closer look at.
