Story Hightlights
Oppo Find X9s is a small, big flagship that will allow users to enjoy the luxury of a smartphone without sacrificing size. The smartphone is sandwiched between the standard Find X9 and the high-quality Find X9 Ultra, and is equipped with a powerful Dimensity 9500s chipset, camera system optimised by Hasselblad, and a large 7025mAh battery backup all in a pocket-friendly design. It's a great combination of performance, photography and durability on paper.
However, it's facing stiff competition from competitors like its siblings and other flagship models, so is the Find X9s really a cut above? After spending over two weeks with the device, here’s my detailed Oppo Find X9s review.
An In-Depth Review on Oppo Find X9s
With amazing battery life, Hasselblad-excelled photos and the punch you'd anticipate from such a high-quality compact flagship, Oppo Find X9s is a cell phone that you should definitely have in your hand. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, boasting a color AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a camera setup of at least 50MP triple. Now, let's look at its design, display, performance, cameras, battery backup, price in Bangladesh, and value to determine whether the Find X9s can make the cut today in terms of flagship smartphones.
Box Content
This is what you get inside the Oppo Find X9s box:
- Oppo Find X9s Smartphone
- 80W SUPERVOOC Charger
- USB Type-C cable
- Silicone case
- User manual

Oppo Find X9s is jam-packed with a rather complete retail feature set. The inside of the box includes Oppo Find X9s smartphone, 80W SUPERVOOC fast charger, a USB Type-C charging cable, a protective case, a SIM ejector, quick start guides and warranty information. But Oppo has also been working on the basics in the box, which means the device will provide fast charging for the users without the need to purchase additional accessories.
Design & Build Quality
The design of Oppo Find X9s looks exactly like it in the Find X series and feels just like the money spinner of a premium and modern smartphone. The front is flat, the aluminum sides are flat and the back is a stylish flat panel with a unique camera module. The phone is 156.98mm x 73.93mm x 7.99mm in size with a weight of 202 grams, providing a perfect screen-to-body ratio and is comfortable to handle for long periods of time.

We received our review unit in Sunset Orange, which is a muted shade of peach, but not too garish. The Midnight Grey and Lavender Sky are other options for a more traditional color. The overall unboxing experience has been enhanced by Oppo's boxing a protective case in a similar colour to the device.
Build quality is excellent and the aluminum frame and glass body provide a solid and high quality in-hand feel. The phone is well constructed and is rigid and does not flex or creak. The Find X9s is also dust and water resistant with IP68 and IP69 ratings, so it can resist dust and resist water immersion for 30 minutes up to 1.5 m.IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance are added to its superior qualifications to resist dust and water immersion for 30 minutes up to 1.5 m.
Display
Oppo Find X9s has 6.59 AMOLED display which has 1216 x 2640 resolution and a good pixel density of 460 PPI. The panel provides 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and a maximum brightness of up to 1,800 nits to keep the panel safe from common scratches and drops. The high screen-to-body ratio is over 91% and the relatively narrow bezels around the punch-hole display create a truly immersive viewing experience.

Find X9s' best qualities for the common user are the display. Bright colors, not over saturated, deep blacks, as is needed on an AMOLED panel, and good viewing angles. Whether you're streaming HDR content, checking out social media or playing games, the screen is crisp, bright and fun to watch. The display is also highly visible outdoors, even in full sunlight.
High refresh rate makes the interface less jittery and laggy, all the elements are smooth and sleek. However, Oppo has decided not to follow the LTPO idea and went with a standard AMOLED panel instead. The power efficiency would have been even better, and battery life would have been even greater, with a dynamic refresh rate of 1Hz - 120Hz.
Camera
Oppo Find X9s features a 3 camera setup consisting of a 50MP sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto sensor tripled with optical zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. It's a well-rounded flagship camera system on paper, and it performs well and reliably in real-world situations.
Its main camera captures high quality, detailed images in good dynamic range in natural colour. The photos are sharp but not over processed and the optical image stabilization helps with getting steady images in challenging lighting conditions. The 50MP telephoto camera also offers impressive zoom performance and pleasing separation of the subject in portraits. The ultra-wide sensor, on the other hand, can be employed in landscape and group photos, as all the three lenses provide uniform colour reproduction.
Daylight Photo:
Under sunny daylight conditions the Find X9s produces quality photos with good contrast and detail and is worthy of being social media ready. The camera also does a good job of capturing photos in low-light situations, with minimal noise without sacrificing detail in the low and high frequencies. HDR, continuous shooting, face detection, touch to focus, up to 120x digital zoom are just some of the features that further enhance the photography experience.

Low-light Photo:
The 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) lets the Oppo Find X9s camera capture good pictures in low-light conditions. While there is a bit of noise in the night shots, the camera retains a lot of detail and does a fantastic job handling noise with the images not appearing overly soft. The processing of streetlights, signs, and vehicle headlights is effective with very little flare and exposure balance.

The smartphone's video recording capabilities include up to 4k resolution at 60fps, providing smooth and stable video footage. The camera system has good performance on the transition of exposure, and the color is pleasing in bright and indoor environments. Slow motion up to 240fps, allowing content creators to enjoy creative flexibility.
It has a good dynamic range on the front side, and is capable of capturing good selfies with good detail and accurate skin tones from the 32MP selfie camera. It also records 4K video, allowing you to use it for video calls, vlogging, and creating videos for social media.
Performance & Software
Oppo Find X9s is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, which is based on the advanced 3nm chipset, and backed by the Immortalis-G925 graphics card, ensuring it has a solid performance.
Oppo Find X9s is powered by a highly advanced 3nm chipset, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s, and paired with the Immortalis-G925 graphics card. It features an octa-core architecture with 3.73GHz Cortex-X925 prime core and a set of three Cortex-X4 performance cores and four Cortex-A720 efficiency cores.

It has 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of ultra-fast UFS 4.1 storage, which will provide a high-end and very smooth user experience.
Normal operation is fast and reliable with the Find X9s. The smartphone is capable of running multiple applications simultaneously to stream high resolution videos, enhance photos, socialize and play graphics-intensive games with ease. App launches occur instantly and there are no long periods of time where the device slows down while playing games. Thermal management is also decent with just some heat occurring during hotspot sharing for long periods of time or with high workloads.
The Dimensity 9500s is slightly behind the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Dimensity 9500 flagship processors, but the difference is difficult to notice in real-world scenarios. The performance provided is adequate for most users, for productivity and entertainment. In terms of software, the smartphone comes with Android 16 and ColorOS 16 preinstalled.
Oppo's new OS still features one of the most comprehensive and clean Android skins available out there. The UI is well designed, user-friendly and highly customizable, with helpful features like better notification management, color-based app organization, better multitasking features and AI-powered capabilities enhancing the overall user experience.
AnTuTu Benchmark & Geekbench Score
The Oppo Find X9s has picked up some impressive scores on the benchmarks, which shows the power of the chipset and graphics processor, namely the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s and Immortalis-G925. The smartphone gets an excellent score of 3,132,001 points in AnTuTu Benchmark v11, and ranks in the top tier of Android smartphones in its category. It features a high-performance CPU, GPU, memory, and UX, making it a perfect option for gamers, multitaskers, and high-performance computing users.

The Find X9s gets 2,596 points on the single-core test, and 7,723 points on the multi-core test on Geekbench 6. These figures equate to quick app startup times, seamless multi-tasking and consistent performance when using the app. Although some Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 devices might be better, Oppo Find X9s is a strong contender that can easily handle demanding gaming sessions as well as productivity.
Battery & Charger
Oppo Find X9s has a large Li-Ion battery of 7,025mAh, which is one of the largest in high-end smartphones. The cell capacity is built to perform exceptionally well on paper, and in real use has proved it can last through a full day of medium to heavy use, including social media, video, photo, navigation and gaming activities.

However, with its massive battery, the battery life is fine, but not state of the art. This will not be able to dynamically reduce the refresh rate of the phone for maximum efficiency, which will likely impact battery life as well given the absence of an LTPO display. The Find X9, with its larger battery, offers good battery life for the whole day, but there are other smaller battery-powered devices that are able to get the same or better battery life through optimization.
Oppo's 80W SuperVOOC fast charging technology is used to charge and 55W PPS and 13.5W Power Delivery charging are supported. Charging is easy and fast as the charger provided will charge the battery from 0% to 100% in less than an hour. No, it's not wireless charging either, which appear to be a glaring omission for a premium mobile phone!
Oppo Find X9s Price in Bangladesh
Oppo Find X9s is officially available in Bangladesh, the price of 12GB RAM + 256GB storage is approximately BDT 99,000 (Unofficial). The smartphone packs a lot of premium parts in the form of the AMOLED display, an all-powerful Dimensity 9500s SoC, Hasselblad tuned triple 50MP camera and a massive battery of 7,025mAh that gives the smartphone a flagship-like feel.
Final Word
The Oppo Find X9s is a balanced high-end phone with a particularly impressive display, camera capabilities, performance, and battery life. The compact design of its flagship and the Hasselblad enhanced camera system make it an attractive choice for many photography lovers and power users. It would be a perfect flagship if it had wireless charging and a LTPO display, but overall it's pretty refined.
