It was great unboxing the Oppo Find X8s which is another demonstration of how much care Oppo puts into its products. All of the essentials are neatly arranged inside with the smartphone itself, an 80W SuperVOOC charger, a USB Type C cable, a clear protective case, a SIM ejector tool and user documentation and all of this comes in packaging that exudes elegance.

Design & Build Quality
Immediately, I was struck by the design of the Oppo Find X8s, when I first picked it up. The device is extremely slim, measuring only 7.7mm at its thickest and weighs 179g, a pretty svelte design for the class. A glass front and back combined with an aluminum frame give a great premium feel all while being durable.
For the front, there is a 6.32 inch AMOLED display with ultra thin bezels for immersive viewing. A centered circular camera module on the back, with a discreet LED flash, gives it a modern look.
As far as the build quality is concerned, the Find X8s is built with IP68/IP69 ratings which mean water and dust resistance. The glass back looks elegant, but the back is easily smudged and needs to be cleaned often to retain its high tech look.
On the whole, the Oppo Find X8s is a blend of style and function and provides a design that is both attractive to look at and easy to use.
Display
With the Oppo Find X8s you get an elegant display experience that makes the most of the latest technology. The sharp visuals and smooth scrolling are provided by its 6.32-inch AMOLED screen packing in a 120Hz refresh rate and 1216 x 2640 pixel resolution. Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HDR Vivid support included, this enhances color depth and contrast making media consumption a delight. The display has a peak brightness of 1600 nits which still looks vibrant in bright sunlight.
The 2160Hz high frequency PWM dimming is one of the most important features which reduce eye strain while working for extended periods. On the other hand, there have been some complaints about eye strain and display flickering in earlier Oppo models which reportedly use Tianma panels. The Find X8s tries to solve these problems but people still may be sensitive to these displays individually.
With a 240Hz touch sampling rate for the display, the interactions on the screen are responsive which is ideal for gaming and quick jobs. Further, with a ~90.6% screen to body ratio, the screen gives a good immersive viewing experience.
In short, the Oppo Find X8s' display is truly impressive with a high resolution AMOLED panel, great brightness and various functionality aimed at user comfort. But it does address many of the concerns from prior models and potential buyers should consider their personal sensitivity to display characteristics.
Camera
The Oppo Find X8s has a sophisticated camera system with a triple-lens rear setup and a high resolution front camera, built to deliver best in class photography and videography experience.
The primary sensor is able to take detailed images with a big 1/1.56" sensor size and 1.0µm pixel size, as it is a 50MP main camera (Sony LYT-700C). It has multi direction PDAF and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) for capturing sharp photos in any light. It has f/1.8 aperture which means excellent low light performance.
This telephoto lens allows for detailed shots from a distance with its 50MP telephoto camera which offers 3.5x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. It has a 1/2" sensor size and 0.70µm pixel size and also includes OIS and PDAF for stable shots and accurate focus.
This lens is a 50MP ultra wide (Samsung S5KJN5) with 120° field of view, ideal for wide landscapes or big group photos. It has a 1/2.76" sensor size, 0.64µm pixel size, an f/2.0 aperture and PDAF support.
Daylight Photography:
Under bright conditions, the Find X8s takes excellent detailed and colorful images. Sharp photos are delivered by the 50MP main sensor with accurate exposure, the wide dynamic range. The colors look natural and working with the Hasselblad collaboration makes the overall image quality better. The ultra wide lens maintains the same level of color and detail which is good for landscapes and group shots. The telephoto lens gives clear zoomed in images although you can notice slight softness at high zoom levels.
Low-Light Photography:
The Find X8s is quite good in low light. Well exposed images with minimal noise are captured with the main sensor which keeps details in shadow and highlights regions. But there are some users who have mentioned that the AI processing can sometimes make the pictures overly smoothed which can affect the nature of the picture. The main sensor can be used in low light and the ultra wide and telephoto lenses are usable, but they may not be as sharp or noisy as the main sensor.
The rear camera system also records 4K video at up to 30/60fps and 1080p at up to 240fps. Gyro EIS, HDR, 10 bits video and Dolby Vision improve video quality and bring cinematic results.

The collaboration between Oppo and Hasselblad means that the Find X8s are equipped with advanced color calibration and therefore provide natural and vibrant colors. Portrait mode with light layering and motion detection ones are the AI features that make photography simpler to capture the professional quality pictures.
The camera hardware is impressive, but some people have also reported that AI enhancements can occasionally give skin unnatural tones. Finally, lack of controls to disable certain AI features may cause user control in image processing.
Performance & Software

The Find X8s is essentially powered at its core by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset which is built on a 3nm process. At its heart, this octa core processor features a high performance Cortex X925 core clocked at 3.73 GHz 3 Cortex X4 cores at 3.3 GHz and 4 Cortex A720 cores at 2.4 GHz. Mali G925 Immortalis MP12 GPU supports high end gaming and graphics intensive applications.
The Find X8s is coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage providing smooth multitasking and quick data access. The device also comes with a vapor chamber cooling system to ensure the device does not overheat with usage.
It is running Android 15 with Oppo's ColorOS 15 skin on top. In this iteration, several AI powered features were introduced like:
Circle to Search: Users can draw a circle on any screen and search for content or object. Contextual suggestion AI Assistant based on user interactions and automates tasks. Enhances image quality by removing blur, reflections and unwanted objects.
In addition to that, ColorOS 15 comes with a new interface that uses smoother animations, upgraded privacy controls and additional features like FlexDrop for multitasking and Game Space for enhanced gaming performance.
Performance and software are strong on the Find X8s, but there have been some complaints of problems with ColorOS 13.1 on past Oppo devices such as app crashes and system UI errors. But these concerns have not been common for the Find X8s and Oppo still releases updates to fix software stability.
AnTuTu Benchmark & GeekBench Score
I first powered on the Oppo Find X8s to see how it would handle pressure. It did not disappoint the device. With all the hardware and optimized software, it handled multitasking, gaming and streaming with ease in real world usage.
My experience was benchmark tested further. The Find X8s scored a whopping 21,01,403 on AnTuTu benchmark, putting it in the top of the smartphone heap. A high score like this means the device has excellent CPU and GPU capability resulting in smooth performance on all apps.
Results in Geekbench were also impressive. In single core tests, the device achieved a score of 2,817, while in multi-core tests, it scored 8,513; the device proved itself capable of handling both single threaded and multi threaded tasks . They equate to a smooth user experience; if you’re editing pictures, playing graphics intensive games or switching between several apps.
Battery & Charger
Battery endurance is redefined in a sleek compact form factor with the Oppo Find X8s. It comes with a 5,700mAh silicon carbon 'Glacier Battery' that always provides over a full day of intensive use. The battery held up impressively in my experience even during heavy gaming sessions.
Charging is as impressive. Included is the 80W SUPERVOOC charger which replenishes the battery to 50% in about 26 minutes and to a full charge in about an hour. For more ease, the device can support 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, as well as wired charging.
But using third party chargers can slow the charging speeds down. In order to achieve the best possible performance it is recommended that you use the original charger and cable that comes with it.
To summarize, the Oppo Find X8s has a great battery life and fast charging, thus providing a reliable companion for users who require a long battery life and also fast charging.

On first impression, the Oppo Find X8s premium build and advanced features impressed. I looked for local retailers and online platforms to see if it is available in Bangladesh. The Oppo Find X8s price in Bangladesh is BDT 85,000 (Unofficial) with 12GB of RAM and 256G of internal storage.
However, it is to be remembered that these prices are unofficial listings because Oppo has not officially launched the Find X8s in the Bangladeshi market. Because of this, buying through these channels might not come with an official warranty or after sales support.
