Motorola has it simple and neat here. The phone is delivered in that beautiful Pantone color, but there's also an awesome 90W TurboCharge adapter, which allows the phone to charge super quickly. The USB Type-C cable for charging and data transfer is included as well.
There's a SIM ejector tool for you to remove the SIM slot, plus some basic documentation and quick-start guides. One bummer? Not included with purchase, please purchase a protective case now to keep that beautiful eco-leather back in good shape and protected from scratches and drops.
Design & Build Quality
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus is gorgeous in and of itself. It is one of the thinnest mobile phones you can buy at 7.19mm thick with a weight of 190 grams. The dimensions are 162.7mm height and 75.6mm width, which is ideal for hand and pocket, no bulky or heavy.
The eco-leather back is the best part, it's very real high-end. It is soft, has a velvety texture and makes a phone look expensive and feel amazing in your hands. Motorola has three beautiful Pantone selections: deep red Zinfandel (looks classy); elegant green Stormy Sea and sophisticated wood finish Chicory Coffee. The colour makes the phone look unique and upscale.

The curved shape forms around the hand well, making it very comfortable to use for extended periods of time. It comes with a thin profile and is lightweight, so you won't notice it in your pocket.
The durability of this phone isn't taken for granted either. It is rated as IP68 and IP69, meaning that it can withstand water splashes up to 1.5 metres high for 30 minutes. The phone is also 100% dust proof, meaning that sand or dust will not cause any damage. The sturdy construction resists daily shocks and vibrations with no problems.
Display
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus' display is truly spectacular. The display is a superb 6.78-inch AMOLED screen that is large yet not too massive. The resolution is 1272x2772 pixels and FHD + Quality, which means that everything is sharp and crystal clear. Text is sharp and images are very detailed, as the pixel density is 450 PPI.
The best part of this exhibit is that it has a very high peak brightness of 5200 nits. This means you can use your phone in direct sunlight without any issues, and without the need to squint or struggle to see. It is so bright, it's actually brighter than many flagship phones that cost much more.

The 144Hz refresh rate is a game-changer. Smooth and buttery scrolling with apps, social media browsing and video watching. The aspect ratio is 19.6:9 and it provides greater screen size. Not to mention a screen-to-body ratio of 96.80%, which means there's not much bezel around the edges of the screen. The notch designed in the punch-hole ensures that it remains small and inconspicuous.
This AMOLED screen has beautiful and vibrant colors. It plays HDR10+ movies and shows in amazing contrast and deep blacks, which is like watching in a movie. There's also Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on top, which protects the screen from scratching and minor drops. The touchscreen is responsive and can handle multiple touches, making the experience of gaming and scrolling a lot better.
Camera
The camera setup available in the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus is fantastic. Back, you have three 50-megapixel cameras, all with a different function. This allows you to capture anything that you want with great flexibility.
The primary camera has a Sony LYTIA 710 sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, and features a 50MP sensor. This is an upscale sensor with amazing detail and colour fidelity. The f/1.8 opening allows plenty of light to get through, so the photos will be great in low lighting. It also comes with optical image stabilisation (OIS) to ensure blurring-free and steady shots. There's autofocus as well, making it fast and easy to focus. It can shoot images at insanely high resolution: 8150×6150 pixels.
Here's where things get really cool. The 50MP telephoto lens is f/2.5 and provides the all-important 3.5X optical zoom. This allows zooming in on faraway objects without compromising quality, ideal for zoom shots and portraits. It is also equipped with OIS, which means zoomed images remain clear even if the camera is shaken slightly during the zoom operation.
The 50MP ultra-wide lens takes stunning wide shots and group photos with an f/2.0 aperture. It enables you to get more in the frame without stepping back.
Daylight Photo:
This camera really shines in sunny weather. Photos are crisp and have excellent colours. The colors are bright and seem like they're straight out of the camera, I'd almost say Instagram worthy! A dynamic range of really great proportions, no washed out bright skies and still good detail in dark areas. The telephoto lens is a real boon for portrait photography, which achieves the gorgeous out-of-focus background effect of your photos for you.

Low-Light Photo:
This camera is great in low-light conditions, even during the night! The NV (night vision) mode is activated and clean, well-lit photos are captured with low levels of noise. Dark areas have good detail, but don't appear grainy. If you're shooting in the dark, the specialized night mode works as intended and keeps your images looking natural and balanced with the street lights.
Fantastic 4K video (3840x2160) all at 60fps is pretty cool. You also get 1080p at 60fps. The videos are smooth, detailed and have excellent color reproduction.

There's an app for the camera, and it's very cool. It includes night vision for low-light scenarios, HDR for increased contrast, magic eraser for eliminating undesirable objects, and portrait blur for professional-looking photos. It also features a 50x digital zoom, continuous shooting and Google Lens integration.
The 50MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture is capable to capture beautiful selfies. It also records 4K video at 60fps, making video calls and vlogging easy and convenient. This camera features autofocus (uncommon in front-facing cameras), it makes a big difference.
Performance & Software
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus is powered by the latest version of Android that's available, Android16. It is bundled with Hello UI, Motorola's custom interface which is very simple and doesn't have too much bloatware. The software is responsive and easy to use, making everything you do smooth and quick.
On the inside, it has the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset which is a pretty good processor in this price range. It is manufactured with a 4nm process, making it both efficient and powerful. An 8 core CPU that delivers eight cores in action. It has one super-fast core running at 3.4 GHz, three performance cores at 3.2 GHz and four efficiency cores at 2.2 GHz. This pairing translates into a device that can withstand anything you can dishing out.

Good graphics on Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. All games, videos and applications with lots of graphics look good and run smoothly, whether in use or not. It's a really responsive phone in normal use. Apps launch in a flash, switching between apps is seamless, and social media scrolling is as smooth as butter. No lag or slowdown during regular use such as messaging, calling and surfing.
It's also pretty solid with regards to gaming performance. Popular games are smooth and have high frame rates. During normal usage, the phone remains cool while playing games, but experiences some heat during long gaming sessions (several hours).
The 64-bit architecture means a smooth running experience. Enjoy all the new features of the Android operating system (privacy controls, performance, battery management, etc.). Motorola's interface is kept clean as well, so you won't be distracted by unnecessary apps or advertisements.
AnTuTu Benchmark & Geekbench Score
Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus has wowed in benchmarks. In the AnTuTu Benchmark 11, it scored an impressive 2,366,913 points, putting it right near the top of the mid-range category. The results were quite good in all fields: CPU delivered 708,437 points, GPU produced 812,170 points, memory did 317,102 points and user experience did 529,204 points.

Geekbench 6 puts the phone through its paces and gives it a 1743 score in single-core performance, meaning that each individual test that Geekbench puts the phone through is completed in a flash! Multi-core was at 6,900 points, indicating very good performance on multiple tasks.
The numbers are no joke, the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset is indeed powerful. From scrolling through apps to playing intensive games, there's smooth performance in everything you do. The phone performs well when multitasking, with no lag or slowdown. These are impressive figures, perfectly matched by real world performance.
Battery & Charger
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus is powered by a 6500mAh lithium-ion battery that ensures extended battery life for the whole day. Normal use, such as texting, making calls and surfing the web, will provide you with a full day of charge without the need to charge. For gamers and video streamers, roughly 5-6 hours is the time you can get before you need a refill.
The charging experience is what's really cool. The phone is capable of 90W wired fast charging, and that's quite darn fast. It can take about 25 minutes to charge from 0-50 percent and just about 45 minutes for complete full charge. This is quicker than the majority of the competition in this price range.

For wireless power, the telephone is compatible with the 15W wireless charging system. Simply connect it to a compatible charging pad and charge it without the use of cables. Even better, the phone has reverse wireless charging at 5W, so you can charge your earbuds or other devices using your phone!
The battery is not easily detachable (typical for today's phones). It is charged using USB Type-C 2.0 which is convenient and compatible with most cables.
Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus Price in Bangladesh
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus costs ৳66,000 in Bangladesh, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This is a recommended retail price and is subject to change based on availability and retailer. You'll be getting a high-end mid-range device with great cameras, a beautiful display and charging speed for this price. If you're aiming for quality photography and performance, it's a great investment!
Final Word
If you're a photography enthusiast or display fan, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus is a wonderful phone to have. It's a well-designed, 144Hz screen with a triple 50MP camera and zoom. The quick 90W charging is an added bonus. Battery life, however, is not as great, and software support is for only three years. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone wanting a balanced, high-quality phone that doesn't cost flagship prices.
