Motorola Moto G67 Power has entered the Indian market with a low price tag that is designed to suit individuals who do not want to compromise on modernity but still require a serious battery life. It has a large battery of 7000 mAh and a textured vegan leather back, which immediately makes it conspicuous in its segment.

Motorola took the performance aspects of the G96 and the camera capabilities of the G86 Power, and made a balanced phone that would appeal to the everyday user that needs performance, rather than flash.

After spending more than a week with the phone, including both the daily functions of the phone and gaming and camera performance, this review dissects the performance of the G67 Power in the actual sense.

An In-Depth Review on Motorola Moto G67 Power

Motorola Moto G67 Power is designed to satisfy the needs of the users who prefer having a long battery life with a durable and practical design. It has a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz display and is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with 8GB RAM and provides everyday performance.

The phone has a main camera with 50MP, ultrawide lens with 8MP, and a selfie camera with 32MP which captures the majority of the light conditions. The largest strength is the large 7000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging. The review will discuss its design, performance, cameras, battery life and price in Bangladesh.

motorola moto g67 power box content

The Motorola Moto G67 Power is provided with simple, yet handy accessories. The phone itself, with a protective case already attached to it to aid grip and day-to-day safety, comes in the box. Motorola comes with a 30W fast charger and USB-C cable thus you are already prepared to charge. The standard paperwork is also included, the quick start guide and warranty. It is a barebones package, though it has all you need to start with.

Design & Build Quality

The Moto G67 Power adheres to Motorola design language, being inspired by Moto G86 Power, Moto G96, and even the Edge 60 series. You also have the same vegan leather finish that makes the back look and feel high-end and provide grip. The square camera module is seamlessly integrated into the rear panel and the Motorola logo is neatly located in the middle. Our review unit was the PANTONE Parachute shade, although the phone is also available in PANTONE Blue Curacao and PANTONE Cilantro, which allows buyers a couple of stylish choices.

The phone is 166.2 mm tall and 8.6 mm thick, and weighed 210 grams. It is not the lightest phone having the battery of 7000 mAh, particularly when one considers the Realme P4 which is a bit lighter because of its thinner shape. With that said, the curved frame of the Moto G67 Power and its textured back ensure that it is comfortable to hold during long durations. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is another feature that Motorola has maintained next to the USB-C port, unlike other competitors such as the Realme P4 or the iQOO Z10x, which omit the audio port.

The phone is stereo with the earpiece serving as the second speaker. The sound output is decent enough to play movies, games, and music, and the overall audio experience seems to be balanced at the price. Motorola has also included the certification of MIL-STD-810H which provides the G67 Power with a little more durability. The phone dropped onto concrete during the testing and had only slight scuffs on the frame.

Corning Gorilla Glass 7i provides protection, but the display is easily scratched by light. It does not have a pre-applied screen protector, which is a drawback since most of the competing brands have one. The fingerprint sensor attached to the side of the power button is fast and reliable and contributes to the general usability.

Display

Moto G67 Power is among the limited number of new phones to come with an IPS LCD display, yet it is able to provide a good viewing experience in its daily applications. The 6.7-inch Full HD+ display is sharp and provides acceptable colour reproduction and clarity indoors. Brightness is at 1,050 nits, which is good indoors, but is not so good in the sun. When the phone is compared to the competitors of AMOLED such as the Realme P4, the disparity in outdoor view is apparent.

The phone can use a 120Hz refresh rate, and when the display is set to Hyper Smooth in the Settings, it will use 120Hz in most applications. This makes the interface have a fluid, responsive feel, whether you are scrolling social media or menus. Games tend to remain at their established frame rates, but the extra refresh rate is beneficial to the overall experience of the UI.

Regarding the display quality, the LCD screen is not as deep black and high-contrast as the AMOLED screens. Dark images in films seem to be more grey and this is more evident in darker settings. It is not a deal-killer, but users who have experience with AMOLED devices will most probably notice the difference.

Motorola has two colour profiles namely Natural and Vivid. Natural mode also gives correct colours but is somehow dull. Vivid mode makes the screen more saturated and adds more life to the screen without making the colours too saturated. To the majority of users, Vivid will provide a more pleasing combination of coziness and punchiness, and the content will appear more energized on the screen of the G67 Power.

Camera

The Moto G67 Power has a decent camera configuration at its cost, and Motorola has given it the hardware that can compete in the low-end market. The phone shares the 50MP 1/2-inch LYT600 main sensor with the Moto G86 Power, and more costly phones such as the OnePlus Nord CE 5. This puts it ahead of competitors like the Realme P4 and Redmi 15 5G which both use smaller 1/2.88-inch sensors. The primary lens has an 8MP ultrawide camera, and the front has a 32MP shooter, which, like the rear lenses, can capture up to 4K video.

Daylight Photo:

The main camera has detailed shots in good daylight with precise colours particularly at 1x. The quality is low at 2x digital zoom, though the quality is still usable on social media. In contrast to the Moto G96, the G67 Power does not allow taking dedicated macro shots with the help of the ultrawide lens. Nevertheless, 1.5x or 2x zoom and bringing the object closer to the camera produces surprisingly good results outdoors in the strong light.

Low-Light Photo:

Realme has more control over exposure and flares in low-light, and its images have less noise. When Night mode is turned on, the trend repeats itself: the P4 produces better and more detailed images, however, Motorola remains closer to the natural colour palette. The P4 is also sharper and has a greater dynamic range than the ultrawide lens on the G67 Power.

The colour processing of Motorola is also consistent with a balanced approach, without excessive saturation in the daylight and low light. The dynamic range is managed, but the colour consistency of the main and ultrawide lenses should be improved. Portrait and selfie shots are likely to cast a warm shade on skin, which is unnatural at some point. The images created by the phone are more realistic at night, with a clear sky contrast and smooth edges on subjects. But photos may be soft, particularly in cases where the external lighting is not even.

Selfies show the same trend. Realme P4 is more precise with skin tones whereas the Moto G67 Power takes more detail and clarity. The P4 has a tendency to over sharpen in portrait shots, whereas Motorola has a more consistent exposure but has a lower quality of edge detection.

In general, the Moto G67 Power offers good camera capability in its category, with natural colours and good detail during the day, but it has some stiff competition against the Realme P4 in the low-light situation and ultra-wide image quality.

Performance & Software

The Moto G67 Power is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, which is the same processor as the Moto G96 and many of the previous Motorola phones. This is the most smooth work of Motorola that has ever been used in day-to-day use. The apps load fast, the scrolling is smooth, and the UI interactions are responsive, particularly when the 120Hz refresh rate is set. During normal usage, no stutters or delays were observed, and it makes the phone reliable in daily activities.

The device comes in one type with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2. The price is reasonable in terms of gaming performance. In COD: Mobile, the phone will achieve maximum speeds of 90FPS in Multiplayer mode with the lowest graphics quality. I had one sudden stutter at a 45-minute session, which produced visible stuttering, but otherwise the gameplay was consistent at 85 to 90FPS. BGMI performance is less ambitious. The G67 Power played a 30 minute Battle Royale session in HD + High settings with an average of 29.8 FPS and a high temperature of a cool 28.3 degrees Celsius.

On the software side, the phone is provided with Android 15 on Motorola Hello UI. It would have been perfect to have Android 16 installed in it, particularly because Motorola has already released the update to the Edge 60 Pro and Edge 60 Fusion. Nevertheless, the G67 Power will be verified to get Android 16 in future, and three years of security patches. Other rivals in this range have at least two significant OS upgrades, so the commitment of updates in Motorola is somewhat lagging.

AnTuTu Benchmark & GeekBench Score

Performance wise, the Moto G67 Power performs well, as it is able to match its mid-range status. In AnTuTu 10, the total score of the device was about 8,42,731, the CPU scored about 3,27,731, the GPU scored about 1,28,077, the memory scored 1,45,662, and the UX scored 141243. Such figures suggest that Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 is capable of performing daily activities, consuming media, and playing games without any problems.

At the same time, in GeekBench 6, the phone got 1,021 in single-core performance and 2,988 in multi-core tests. This proves good multitasking skills, which enable applications to operate without any apparent slowdown and responsiveness in normal functions.

The scores are not as high as those of flagship-level devices, but they put the Moto G67 Power in a comfortable position between entry-level smartphones and provide a reliable balance of speed and efficiency to the majority of users. To have a low cost handset with an enormous battery capacity of 7,000mAh, such benchmark figures support the fact that the G67 Power is highly tuned to offer smooth performance without having to sacrifice on reliability.

Battery & Charger

Moto G67 Power is a battery with a huge capacity of 7,000mAh of silicon-carbon, and this power is evident in its long-lasting performance which is difficult to match in its category. Even with 1.5 hours of COD: Mobile at 90FPS, almost an hour of camera work, approximately an hour of scrolling Instagram, hours of Spotify in the background, one hour of web browsing, and 30 minutes of Brawl Stars and Clash Royale, the phone was able to easily last a full day without having to recharge. This was tested on a combination of WiFi and 5G with location and Bluetooth on, which resembles a real-life scenario.

The Moto G67 Power had little idle drain on light, primarily WiFi-based use. The battery has 32 percent capacity even after two full days of moderate activity with minimal app use, which is a great result considering the size of the device. During another cycle, that took me nearly two days, I viewed approximately 4.5 hours of YouTube content, movies via JioHotstar, games, Instagram 1.5 hours, and Spotify, and I did not think about running out of power.

motorola moto g67 power battery charging image

The charging adapter that the phone is shipped with is 33W, however the phone is only capable of charging 30W. During our tests, it took 78 minutes to reach 20 to 100 percent. Although this is understandable considering the massive 7,000mAh battery, faster charging phones in this group can fill their batteries at the same time and with smaller batteries. Nevertheless, the sheer stamina and acceptable charge rate make the G67 Power a stable companion of those who want to have the longest battery life ever.

Motorola Moto G67 Power price in Bangladesh

The Motorola Moto G67 Power price in Bangladesh is BDT 23,000 (Unofficial) in the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. Given its huge capacity of 7,000mAh battery, rugged design and easy performance, the cost makes it a nice choice to users who need to use it on a daily basis with a long battery life without necessarily spending a lot of money. The G67 Power has a balanced blend of endurance, display quality and camera features in comparison to other mid-range phones in this category and it is one of the more attractive options below BDT 25,000 in the Bangladeshi market.

Final Word

Motorola Moto G67 Power is a phone that does just what its name suggests: it has a long battery life, but it has a stable performance and a robust and trendy design. Although its IPS LCD screen and mid-range cameras are not the best in the class, they are still good enough to be used in daily life. The G67 Power is a good option with clean software, good performance in gaming, and a smart set of features such as a vegan leather back cover with grip and 120Hz refresh rate, as opposed to flashy features.
