It was a pleasant experience to unbox iQOO Z10 Turbo, which demonstrated the brand’s attest to details. In the box, I found the sleek iQOO Z10 Turbo handset, transparent protective case that perfectly fits the device, strong 90W FlashCharge adapter and a Type-A to Type-C USB cable, SIM ejector tool and important documentation that includes the quick start guide and warranty card. The inclusion of a high-capacity charger and a protective case right from the box shows iQOO’s dedication to the provision of an all-encompassing user experience.

Design & Build Quality

First of all, it should be noted that the very look of the iQOO Z10 Turbo, as soon as I had it in my hands, gave me the impression of a mixture of modern aesthetics and practical engineering. The device has the following dimensions: 163.7 x 75.9 x 8.1 mm and weighs approximately 212 grams; it combines a significant feeling and comfortable holding. 

The front is ruled by a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, providing an impressive display of colors. When I first switched on the iQOO Z10 Turbo, the display caught my eyes right away with bright colors and smooth reactions. The 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 1260 x 2800 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate provided sharp images and fluid transitions to make mundane browsing fun as well as intense gaming sessions a pleasure.

I was excited to test the performance of the iQOO Z10 Turbo camera in the real world when I started to investigate the camera abilities of the iQOO Z10 Turbo. The device comes with dual rear cameras, with a 50MP primary lens with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and OIS, in addition to a 2MP depth sensor. This combination was to be versatile and in use it was.

Daylight Photo:

The iQOO Z10 Turbo’s 50MP primary sensor takes images with great clarity and color accuracy in bright daylight. The details are crisp and dynamic range is great so the shots taken outdoors are bright and real-looking.

Low-light Photo:

In low-light conditions, the camera works great, due to the wide f/1.8 aperture and OIS. Images have good detail with little noise and the Night Mode brings up the brightness without blowing the highlights.

For video recording, Z10 Turbo supports 4K at 30/60 fps and 1080p at 30/60 fps; gyro-EIS makes the footage steady. The videos were recorded as I moved or panned the camera and this minimized the shake giving the videos a professional feel.

The 16MP front camera which had an f/2.5 aperture took detailed selfies. Even in difficult light, the HDR feature did a good job of harmonizing exposures and 1080p video recording at 30fps was clear and stable due to gyro-EIS.

However, the camera system is not perfect either. Lack of telephoto lens means that zooming has to be done digitally, which can depreciate image quality. Also, although the ultra-wide lens provides an additional level of versatility, there is no autofocus, which limits its usefulness for close-up shots.

Performance & Software

When I turned on the iQOO Z10 Turbo for the first time, I was excited to see how it performs and what software features it has. With the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset onboard, equipped with an octa-core CPU with the maximum clock speed of 3.25GHz and Mali-G720 GPU, the device was promised to deliver solid performance. On everyday use, it handled multitasking, gaming, and media consumption without breaking a sweat, courtesy of its 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. 

Powering on Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15, the Z10 Turbo provided a clean and fast user experience. The Lightning-speed engine reduced the launch time of apps by 20%, whereas Priority Scheduling guaranteed smooth functioning even under heavy load. The Memory Enhancement Technology supported resources well thus smooth multitasking.

Nevertheless, what I did notice is that when in extended gaming sessions, the device got a little warm which is usual in high performance smartphones. On top of that, the software experience turned out to be mostly smooth, but with occasional minor bugs that were to be expected to be fixed on future updates.

All in all, iQOO Z10 Turbo offers excellent performance and a polished software experience, and is a serious choice in its class.

I was impressed by the results of the benchmark tests that I conducted on the iQOO Z10 Turbo. On AnTuTu benchmark v10, the device scored 15,63,961 points, which is better than 96% of smartphones and leads the April 2025 flagship range ratings.

On Geekbench 6 tests, the Z10 Turbo attained 1,639 points in single-core and 6,503 points in multi-core performance . These are the figures of the ability of the device to support demanding applications and multitasking without any difficulties.

Although these benchmark scores show the robust performance of the Z10 Turbo, it should be taken into consideration that in-the-field use can be different. Minor thermal throttling was experienced at times when running extensive high-performance chores, but it didn’t affect overall user experience.

Battery & Charging

I have had great battery performance with the iQOO Z10 Turbo in my everyday life. Equipped with a large capacity of 7,620mAh battery, it can go on a day’s heavy usage such as streaming, gaming and multitasking without a midday charge.

The charging of the device is also efficient. The battery takes about 55 minutes to charge from 0% to 100% because of the 90W fast charging support making downtime low. Furthermore, the reverse wired charging feature makes the Z10 Turbo a power bank to other devices, making it even more flexible.

But the big battery does add to the weight of the device, which makes it a little bit heavier than some of the competing devices. Although this is not a major problem to me, it is something to consider if you prefer lightweight smartphones.

Overall, the iQOO Z10 Turbo is a good option for people who require a phone with great battery life and fast charging options.

If you are the kind of person who wants the best in terms of performance, design, and longevity of battery life, but you are not willing to break the bank for it, a price like this would be a sweet spot. 

Final Word

Having spent some time with the iQOO Z10 Turbo, I can tell you that it is a rare balance, powerful but practical, bold but budget-friendly. From its ultra-smooth display to snappy performance, and decent battery life, it felt like a device that somebody thought about. It’s not perfect, low-light photos could be improved but if you’re after an everyday workhorse that punches above its weight, the Z10 Turbo genuinely surprised me in all of the right ways.
