Infinix Smart 20 was officially released in Bangladesh on 22 February 2026 and is aimed at the users who desire a good-looking and reliable smartphone yet do not want to spend a lot of money. Being a part of the successful Smart line of Infinix, the product is oriented on the practical aspects such as a big smooth screen, long battery life, and the newest Android experience at an affordable price.
Paperwise, it is supposed to be reliable every day but with such modern features as a 120Hz display and a new design. However, how does it really work in practice? Having used the Infinix Smart 20, this is my candid opinion on what it actually has.
An In-Depth Review on Infinix Smart 20
Infinix Smart 20 is a convenient and affordable smartphone that is designed to suit customers in Bangladesh who require a dependable phone to perform daily activities. It has a big smooth screen, can be used in day-to-day applications, and has a long battery life that can easily last the day. The phone appears to be easy and reliable; whether browsing social media or watching videos and making calls. This review will examine its design, display, performance, battery life, price in Bangladesh and general usability to determine how it copes with everyday life.
Box Content
This is what you get inside the Infinix Smart 20 box:
- Infinix Smart 20 Smartphone
- 15W Fast Charger
- USB Type-C cable
- Protective Case
- SIM ejector tool
The Infinix Smart 20 is a box that includes everything that you need to start with. What comes with it is the handset itself, a 15W charging adapter, and a USB charging and data transfer cable. Another bonus that Infinix throws in is a transparent protective case that is a welcome addition in the day-to-day protection. It has got a SIM ejector tool and the standard user guide and warranty card. On the whole, the box is complete in the case of a low-end smartphone.
Design & Build Quality
The Infinix Smart 20 is simple and easy to carry but still comfortable in your hand with its practicality at its core. The phone is 167.7 mm high, 78.8 mm wide and 7.7 mm thick, which is relatively thin considering the size of its display. It is not that light but the weight distribution is balanced, and scrolling or watching videos on it does not seem exhausting.
The construction is made of glass front, plastic back and plastic frame, which is not surprising in this segment. The rear side is clean and modern with a smooth finish that is pleasant to touch even though it is somewhat slippery. Fortunately, Infinix provides a protective case in the box to have a better grip.

The color choices are Shadow Black, Polaris Titanium, Sunlike Orange and Cloudline Blue, and the users have a couple of fashionable options based on their preferences.
Regarding durability, the Smart 20 has IP64 rating, which implies that it is splash-proof and dust-proof. It is not completely waterproof, but it can easily withstand some light rain or unintended splashes. In general, the design is practical, durable, and suitable for everyday use.
Display
The Infinix Smart 20 also has a massive 6.78-inch IPS LCD display, which is immersive to use in everyday life, in addition to its practical design. It has an HD+ resolution (720 × 1576 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 19.7:9, which translates to 259 ppi. Although it is not the highest-quality panel in the market, it is quite adequate to watch YouTube, browse the socials, and play non-demanding games.
Among the features here, the 120Hz refresh rate is one of the highlights. Browsing apps and menus is easier and more comfortable, which is significantly better than the 60Hz screens. But similar to most low-end devices, not all apps will always utilize 120Hz, and this has a minor impact on the general smoothness in some cases.

The screen has a maximum brightness of 700 nits, which is suitable to use outside, although direct sunlight may still cause the display to be somewhat difficult to see. Colours are good and natural on an IPS screen, although they lack the richness of colour of an AMOLED display.
The punch-hole construction makes the sides of the phone thin and the phone appears to have a bezel-less appearance. Moreover, Gorilla Glass protection provides some extra durability to minor scratches. Generally, the Smart 20 display is fun to use on a daily basis, given that it is positioned at a low price.
Camera
The Infinix Smart 20 is very basic, having a single 8MP wide-angle rear camera (f/2.0 aperture) in a clean camera module. No second sensor on the back, and therefore no ultrawide or depth lenses to add some extra versatility. The 8MP selfie camera (f/2.0) is not bad, as well, on the front, which is suitable and can be used during video calls and social media snaps.
Daylight Photo:
The main camera is quite good in broad daylight as a low-end phone. The pictures taken at the default 1x zoom contain satisfactory information with equalised colours. The HDR mode can be used to control bright highlights and shadows, but it is not always flawless. When the sun is intense, the camera occasionally fails to maintain exposure balance resulting in slightly washed out parts.

Low-light Photo:
In low light, the performance is average. In the absence of OIS, photos may lose their sharpness and a few grains can be observed in the darker regions. Super Night mode is a feature that makes the scenes a little brighter, though it is not going to provide the flagship-level clarity.
The camera has such camera features as AI Cam, Portrait, Super Night, Pro Mode, Panorama, Time-Lapse, and Document mode, which provides the user with numerous shooting options. More manual control is also available with settings such as exposure compensation and ISO control. Digital zoom is also present, but, predictably enough, detail is lost as the zoom is increased.

In the case of videos, both rear and front cameras allow recording 1440p (2560×1440) at 30fps, as well as the usual 1080p recording. The quality of video can be used in daytime, with constant colours, but the range of dynamics and sharpness in the low light are not high.
All in all, the cameras on the Smart 20 are convenient when it comes to casual photography and sharing with social networks, but it is evident that they are designed to be used in the simplest manner, and not the high-end photography.
Performance & Software
The Infinix Smart 20 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chipset, which is made on a 12nm process. It has an octa-core processor (2x2.0GHz Cortex-A75 and 6x1.7GHz Cortex-A55) and a Mali-G52 MP2 graphics card. Paperwise, this arrangement evidently aims at the common users as opposed to those who are heavy gamers - and that is actually the way it works in real life.
In everyday operations with applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, and Chrome, the phone is reasonably responsive. Simple multitasking is not so difficult, though, when multiple applications are used in the background, you can sometimes experience minor stuttering when changing between them. It is not a deal-killer but the smoothness is also not flagship-level.

In the case of gaming, the casual games can be played on medium settings. But the heavier games need less graphics to ensure that the performance is stable. This phone is more applicable in light entertainment as opposed to serious gaming.
The Smart 20 has Android 16 using XOS 16 on the software side. The interface is contemporary and includes such useful features as smart panels, customization options, and practical AI tools. The UI is rich in features, but there are instances where animations are not as smooth.
On the whole, the Smart 20 can provide reliable service in day-to-day activities. As long as you use it based on social media, streaming, and calls, it should be able to manage your daily routine without significant problems.
Battery & Charger
The Infinix Smart 20 is relatively slender, but has a large 5,200mAh Li-Poly (non-removable) battery. Paperwise, that is plenty enough to get a full day - and in practice it generally works. On normal applications, phone calls, scrolling through social media, and moderate use of YouTube, the phone can easily go through the day with a full charge and even into the next morning with moderate usage.
In the case of light users, it is not unrealistic to expect 1.5 days of backup. Nevertheless, it will run out of power much quicker when it comes to heavy gaming or extended video play, as a budget chipset and a large screen would suggest.

Charging Charging is supported through 15W wired charging using USB Type-C 2.0. It is not the quickest in its category, and thus needs a long time to charge fully, but it does the job effectively. The phone also has 5W reverse wired charging as an additional feature that comes in handy in case you want to charge another small device. On the whole, the battery life can be regarded as one of the strong points of the Smart 20 despite the relative normality of charging speeds.
Infinix Smart 20 Price in Bangladesh
The Infinix Smart 20 comes at a very competitive price in Bangladesh, it is appealing to the budget-conscious consumers. The 4GB + 64GB model is officially priced at BDT 12,999 and the bigger 4GB + 128GB model is officially priced at BDT 14,499.
The price is rather justifiable taking into consideration the big 120Hz display, 5,200mAh battery, and modern design. To students and ordinary users, it is an affordable package that does not strain the pocket too much.
Final Word
Infinix Smart 20 is a good option to consider when one wants to have a reliable smartphone without paying a lot of money. It does not attempt to be flashy but it delivers where it counts: a smooth display, a long battery life, and dependable everyday performance. The cameras and the charging speed are relatively simple, but the overall experience is not out of place in its segment. The Smart 20 is sensible in daily application in Bangladesh.
