The quad-curved sides are classy, though at times they have the tendency of picking up unintentional strokes, this was something that I had to get used to. And although automatic brightness is good, some users said that it was a bit unstable at mid‑level brightness.

It is powered by the HarmonyOS 5.1, which is smooth and AI-based. The new Xiaoyi assistant is able to detect landmarks, outfit matching, and even help visually impaired users. The transition between systems is quite quick due to the Ark engine (36 percent faster), the swipes are smooth, there is split-screen multitasking and close ecosystem integration with Huawei tablets and wearables.
Kirin 9020 is not as powerful as the most recent Snapdragon/Dimensity chipsets-intensive gamers can feel. No Google Mobile Services in the world-AppGallery functions, but not all applications will work, some require APK tools such as GBox or MicroG, and the problems with push/notifications can sometimes occur.
