Story Hightlights
At first, I didn’t believe the Honor 400 Lite would leave much of an impression, but it didn’t take long for it to exceed my expectations. This phone’s class design and quick operation make it a considerate rival in the budget segment, helping to silence what’s common. The device remains subtle on the outside, but glows inside the core features that actually make a difference.
During this review, I’ll describe my real-world experience with the Honor 400 Lite and talk about how it is special and what it can improve. Also share Honor 400 Lite price in Bangladesh.
An In-Depth Review on Honor 400 Lite
The HONOR 400 Lite comes as an attractive and well equipped smartphone targeted at mid-range customers, providing premium user experience at an affordable price. The HONOR 400 Lite offers a bright AMOLED display, 108MP camera, and fast 5G performance that gives a very balanced approach to performance and modern elegance.
Like any other smartphone, the HONOR 400 Lite has outstanding features and some drawbacks that I will examine extensively in this review. In this review, I will discuss the technical details, highlight its best features, and provide the latest information on the HONOR 400 Lite price in Bangladesh.
Box Content
This is what you get inside the HONOR 400 Lite box:
- HONOR 400 Lite Smartphone
- 35W Charger
- USB Type-C cable
- Silicone case
- User manual
- SIM tool
Unpacking the Honor 400 Lite packaging proved to be a pleasant one. When I opened the chic packaging all I needed was beautifully organized: the device with a 35W fast charger, USB-C cable, and clear protective case.
The setup was easy to use to ensure that everything required to start using the phone was conveniently provided when it was opened.
Design & Build Quality
The first thing that became clear after I took the Honor 400 Lite into my hand was its slim build and the fact that it was incredibly lightweight. The Honor 400 Lite was comfortable to hold and allowed easy, one-handed use at 7.3mm in thickness and 171g in weight.
The Honor 400 Lite’s design has a classy feel about it, thanks to its glass back which beautifully refract light and a plastic frame which offers a metallic-like look. The triangular arrangement of the square housing is where the rear camera module is located, and this gives the device an instantly familiar shape.
What especially caught my eye was the AI camera button on the right of the device. The AI camera button was simple to use to launch the camera so that I could instantly capture random scenes without filling the user menu with them.

This device provides a choice of three sophisticated colors: In three elegant versions, Velvet Grey, Velvet Black, and Marrs Green, the Honor 400 Lite demonstrates superior style.
Its rugged design is complemented with the Honor 400 Lite’s SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance Certification, and IP64 wet-hand touch technology, which makes it waterproof and allows use in wet conditions.
On the other hand, the glossy back does tend to collect fingerprints, which is why it is necessary to wipe it down regularly for upkeep. The plastic frame’s ability to make the device lightweight doesn’t come with the same high-end touch as metal frames in premium smartphones.
The Honor 400 Lite provides both good looks and usefulness, as well as sturdy build, making it a compelling option for mid-range phones.
Display
One thing that really impressed me in the Honor 400 Lite from the beginning is its impressive display. The device has a sharp 6.7 AMOLED screen at 2412 x 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The brightest point of 3500 nits of the display guarantees that the screen is visible in direct sunlight without any straining.
The display is designed to reproduce color on the entire DCI-P3 color spectrum which promises superior and genuine color reproduction. Moreover, such alternatives as 3840Hz PWM dimming and circadian night mode contribute a lot to making content viewing over long periods more pleasant.

Although it is an impressive presentation, some of the users who use streaming of HDR content frequently may find the absence of HDR support as a disadvantage.
The stunning Honor 400 Lite’s display offers a level of performance that is rather rare at such a price point, which makes it worthy of usage for multimedia and everyday tasks.
Camera
This mid-range category of the Honor 400 Lite carried a camera system that exceeded my expectations. With the help of an f/1.75 aperture, the 108MP main sensor can create bright and detailed pictures in any light conditions. The addition of AI improvements such as motion detection and portrait retouching makes your photography experience so much more involved.
One of the most interesting AI camera buttons is a special AI camera button which makes it possible to take photos and use Google Lens in an instant, providing a seamless spontaneous shot.
Although the ultra-wide 5MP lens is handy for the shot of landscapes and groups, its resolution is inferior to that of the main sensor. Having a 16MP front camera and built-in selfie light, clear selfies in dim light are now much simpler.
Daylight Photo:
When it is sunny out, the Honor 400 Lite is excellent at shooting with its 108MP main camera producing very detailed and lively photographs. The aspect of motion detection and portrait retouching in artificial intelligence adds to an improved photographic experience.

Low-light Photo:
When used in dim lighting, the Honor 400 Lite works quite well, thanks to its dedicated night mode. Although the primary sensor is able to create usable pictures in the dark, it demonstrates a strong loss in detail and noise that is higher than that of daylight pictures. Do not forget to switch on night mode manually as the AI does not switch to it automatically.

With video the Honor 400 Lite supports 1080p resolution at 30fps. Although the video motion is smooth and the color balance is correct, lack of 4K recording capability may reduce the attraction of the device among some users.
AI-enabled camera capabilities make the Honor 400 Lite offer a robust lineup of options for photo capture and enhancing the user’s convenience.
Performance & Software
The Honor 400 Lite is unique with its mid-range performance, powered by the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset. Due to its MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor, alongside 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, the Honor 400 Lite is excellent for multitasking and easy handling of day to day activities without lag.
From my experience, the Honor 400 Lite was a star in standard application usage and could easily manage heavy tasks such as Twitch streaming PUBG Mobile on maximum graphics without major issues. However, the device would become a little warm after extended gaming sessions that exceeded half an hour, still well within threshold levels.
The device distinguishes itself with the introduction of a “Game Manager”, which enables two separate profiles for performance and cooling purposes: "Balanced" and "Game." The Balanced mode is performance-oriented, battery efficient and temperature stable for long gaming, while the Game mode increases performance at the cost of battery life and heat emission.

With MagicOS 9.0 at its helm, which is based on Android 15, the Honor 400 Lite is the main software of the device. MagicOS 9.0 includes AI-based tools such as Magic Portal and Magic Capsule that can make the app access and the notification management process more efficient. Furthermore, the AI translation features are extremely useful for translating languages in real time as it helps effective communication in case users cannot speak the same language.
The Honor 400 Lite has good performance; however, when a user runs graphically intensive applications, he/she will face limitations because of the absence of a GPU. Although it has its shortcomings, the Honor 400 Lite is a secure and efficient performance experience for every day and regular gaming.
AnTuTu Benchmark & GeekBench Score
Benchmark scores of Honor 400 Lite prove that it operates well within its mid-range tier.
AnTuTu Benchmark (v10): With a benchmark of 497,235 the device equaled or surpassed performance of 74% of other smartphones of its class. The result shows high capabilities in CPU, GPU, memory, and overall user experience.
Geekbench 6: Single-core performance recorded 956, while in multi-core benchmark, it scored 2,303. The performance of the device implies that it is good enough for everyday use and for handling a couple of applications at once.
According to these benchmark results, the device does well with the general apps and light gaming but might not be the best option for high-end gaming or multitasking problems.
Battery & Charging
Battery efficiency makes the Honor 400 Lite one of the most powerful mid-range devices. Because of its 5,230mAh Li-Polymer battery, the Honor 400 Lite guarantees that there is enough power for the day’s activities including gaming and media watching. When put to continuous video playback test, Honor 400 Lite had the highest time on the charts, with over 14 hours of screen-on playability compared to its rivals.

Fast charging supported by 35W technology allows the Honor 400 Lite to get to 50% in 32 minutes and a full charge in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Its ability to charge up may not represent new standards, but for the price, it is fast and reliable. But the Honor 400 Lite is not benefiting from wireless and reverse charging, two technologies that are finding their way into the mid-range market.
Finally, the Honor 400 Lite has managed to balance its battery size and charging efficiency well, providing the user with long use without a need to recharge too often.

Final Word
After carefully using the Honor 400 Lite, it is obvious this mid-range phone is outstanding in terms of style, performance and battery, making it a good all-rounder. Powered by an AMOLED display and a future-proof 5G chipset, the Honor 400 Lite shines, and its camera does not lag behind competitors in supportive lighting settings. While the low-light photography is far from ideal and it does not even feature wireless charging, for the price you are paying you can hardly fault it. The Honor 400 Lite is a great horse for anyone who would be willing to keep value above perfection.
