From my experience, the Honor 400 Lite was a star in standard application usage and could easily manage heavy tasks such as Twitch streaming PUBG Mobile on maximum graphics without major issues. However, the device would become a little warm after extended gaming sessions that exceeded half an hour, still well within threshold levels. 

The device distinguishes itself with the introduction of a “Game Manager”, which enables two separate profiles for performance and cooling purposes: "Balanced" and "Game." The Balanced mode is performance-oriented, battery efficient and temperature stable for long gaming, while the Game mode increases performance at the cost of battery life and heat emission.

With MagicOS 9.0 at its helm, which is based on Android 15, the Honor 400 Lite is the main software of the device. MagicOS 9.0 includes AI-based tools such as Magic Portal and Magic Capsule that can make the app access and the notification management process more efficient. Furthermore, the AI translation features are extremely useful for translating languages in real time as it helps effective communication in case users cannot speak the same language. 

The Honor 400 Lite has good performance; however, when a user runs graphically intensive applications, he/she will face limitations because of the absence of a GPU. Although it has its shortcomings, the Honor 400 Lite is a secure and efficient performance experience for every day and regular gaming.
