Helio is a new name for most people, but the Helio 110 wants to change that. It is priced at ৳26,999 and has a curved AMOLED screen that has a refresh rate of 120Hz and is quite bright, some of the characteristics you don't often get at this price. It also features a massive 6000mAh battery, supports 45W fast charging and a soft leather-like back that's comfortable to hold in the hand.

But it's not all good news. Lacks 5G is not available and the cameras are not special. Is the Helio 110 a good value for the money or does it have a strong suit? Let's go on a closer look.

An In-Depth Review on Helio 110

The Helio 110 is designed for the everyday user who wants a great screen, long battery life and a cool design without the high price tag. The MediaTek Helio G200 processor chipset has been used, has a 6000mAh battery, has a curved AMOLED screen, has a 64MP main camera, and has a soft vegan leather back. It will discuss its design, display, performance, camera, battery life, price in Bangladesh, and overall value for everyday use.

Box Content

This is what you get inside the Helio 110 box:

  • Helio 110 Smartphone
  • 45W fast charger
  • USB Type-C cable
  • Protective case
  • SIM ejector tool
  • User manual

The Helio 110 is packaged in a basic box that contains all the tools you need to make it a success. The phone comes with the phone, 45W charger, a USB Type-C cable, a SIM ejector tool, and a basic user manual along with a warranty card inside. Earphones and additional cover are not included, consider purchasing separately.

Design & Build Quality

Helio 110 is more expensive than its price tag would indicate. It has a height of 163.26mm, a width of 73.51mm and a thickness of only 8.55mm, which makes it easy to carry in one hand. It weighs 184 grams and feels solid, but not cumbersome to wear every day.

The standout feature is the back panel. Helio is opting for a vegan leather back, instead of the typical glass or plastic finish. This makes the phone soft and sticky to the touch, as compared to glass which is cold and slippery. It also helps keep the phone looking clean for longer since it will prevent fingerprints and smudges from being visible. Choose between Flame Orange and Deep Navy Blue to achieve a vibrant and youthful appearance, or a more subdued and polished look.

The front of the phone features a curved display design that seamlessly integrates with the phone's shape, creating a premium feel while holding it. This is a style of curved edge that is typically used on higher-end phones, so it's a welcome surprise to see it here.

As far as durability is concerned, the Helio 110 has an IP64 rating. That is, it is totally dust-protected and can resist light splashing of water, such as rain or accidental spills. It's not waterproof, but it does provide reassurance when it comes to common accidents.

In general, the Helio 110 is a well-designed product. It has a light body weight, nice grip, vegan leather back, and is simply water resistant, which makes it a phone people can hold and use daily, not just one that's designed to meet a spec sheet.

Display

The display is one of the best features of the Helio 110 and it's the first thing you'll see when you switch on the phone. It is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel which also has a curved display that is not available in many phones of a similar price range. The curved edges give the phone a smoother feel and also add a nice curve when scrolling through content.

It has a resolution of 1080x2400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio and 395 ppi pixel density. Whether you are looking at text, reading or watching videos, this will make it look sharp, clear and easy to read.

The 120Hz refresh rate is one of the highlights of this one. This allows you to scroll, swipe and switch between apps smoothly and quickly. From games to everyday use of your phone, everything becomes more responsive.

The brightness is also outstanding, up to 1000 nits. This will ensure the screen remains visible and clear even in bright sunlight, which is often a challenge in Bangladesh's climate. Also, punch hole design is included at the front camera, which maintains the screen to body ratio high at 92.4% and provides a near bezel-less feel.

To protect, the display is covered by Gorilla Glass, which keeps the display from scratches and small drops. The capacitive multi-touch screen is also smooth and responsive to touch.

In all, this is a shining feature of the Helio 110, and not just in specular terms. The curved AMOLED display along with high brightness and smooth 120Hz refresh rate ensures an experience beyond expectations for its price.

Camera

The Helio 110 comes with a dual camera setup at the back and a single selfie camera at the front. It is not a large system but the primary sensor does a lot of the work.

The front-facing camera features a 64MP sensor with an f/1.89 aperture and is based on the Sony IMX682 image sensor. It's a common sensor used in numerous quality mid-range phones, and should result in sharp and detailed pictures during the day. The camera also features autofocus, LED flash and is capable of capturing up to 9000 x 7000 pixels.

In addition to the primary camera, there's also an additional 2MP macro camera that can capture close-ups of flowers or other small subjects. This is not an Ultra Wide lens and if you want to make wide landscape or group shots you'll need to move back.

The camera also provides exposure compensation, ISO controls, touch-to-focus and HDR mode for additional control, allowing the user some manual control of the shots. It also features 10x digital zoom (which can sometimes degrade the quality of photos when zoomed in digital).

Daylight Photo:

The 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor and an f/1.89 aperture are designed to produce sharp, vibrant and detailed photos in the light. It's a more reliable camera sensor in this price range, and will be pretty solid in outdoor and well-lit situations.

Low-Light Photo:

Optical image stabilization (OIS) or a special night mode are not mentioned in the spec sheet. This will lead to higher noise or blur levels in low-light images, particularly if not held steady. Should be fine in moderate indoor lighting but may not be ideal in very dark settings.

In front is a 32MP camera with an f/2.45 aperture. This should suffice for a clear, crisp selfie and video call even in regular indoor lighting.

The front camera can shoot video up to 1440p (2560x1440) at 30fps while the rear camera can shoot up to 1080p video at 30fps. This is a step down from 4K, but if you make a ton of video, this may be somewhat restrictive. However, for regular video conferences, social media videos, or just taking a quick video for fun, the quality should be better than adequate.

Performance & Software

Helio 110 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G200 chipset that has been manufactured in 6nm. This is a newly designed chip that is not only modern but power efficient as well, which is why it doesn't heat up very quickly and can save power while you're using it.

Under the hood, it is powered by two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz, all of which are octa-core processors.Under the hood, it features two powerful 2.2GHz Cortex-A76 cores and six 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores for everyday use, all of which are octa-core processors.

This type of configuration is prevalent in mid-range phones. The bigger cores are used for heavier activities, such as playing games or multitasking, whereas the smaller cores perform lighter tasks, such as messaging or web browsing, to keep the phone running smoothly without consuming too much battery power.

The phone has Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for graphics. This should run most popular games with a moderate setting without any problems, and it should also work in normal everyday graphics work as well as video playback. It is not designed for heavy, high end gamers, however, and may have some limitations for high end gamers who wish to play at maximum settings.

The chip is also 64-bit, to boost the efficiency of apps and help with multitasking. The software side is powered by the latest version of Android at the time of launch – Helio 110 has Android 16. This guarantees that users can access the latest features, enhanced security, and a sleek, contemporary user interface from the beginning.

The performance configuration in Helio 110 is well-balanced and functional. It is designed for everyday use, such as browsing, chatting, streaming videos and light gaming, not heavy duty or high-end gaming. This is probably adequate for the majority of regular users.

Battery & Charger

The Helio 110 has a number of positives, including its battery life. It has a 6000mAh Li-Polymer battery, which is quite large considering the price of the phone. Users should be able to handle a full day of regular use, whether talking on the phone, surfing the web, watching videos and social media without needing to recharge halfway through the day.

The charging is done by a 45W wired fast charger that can fill up the battery from 0 to 100% in approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. This is a decent charging rate, particularly for a phone this pricey, and more time using the phone, less time waiting around.

It has no removable battery, which is the standard for most of the latest smartphones, and charging is via a USB Type-C 2.0 port, which provides quick and stable charging.

Overall, the battery and charging combination on Helio 110 is well balanced. It's a great option for those looking to keep their phone charged all day with a large battery and quick charging capabilities.

Helio 110 Price in Bangladesh

Helio 110 price in Bangladfesh is ৳26,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The phone features a 6000mAh big battery, 64MP main camera, and an AMOLED display with a curved screen and is a great choice for those looking for a good deal without spending a lot of money.

Final Word

The Helio 110 is a phone with a clear message of what it wants to deliver. It offers a curved AMOLED screen, a large 6000mAh battery with fast charging and a fashionable vegan leather back for ৳26,999. It isn't the heaviest gamer or the best equipped for 5G speeds, and the camera arrangement is simple and unimposing. However, for casual users and those who value entertainment and battery life, the Helio 110 appears to be a savvy and sensible option.
