In the past, Samsung's foldables were considered more of a proof of concept. The Galaxy Z Fold8 doesn't, however. It's also slimmer and lighter than previous phones, and it finally brings that refinement to hardware that can keep up, namely the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the bright 7.6-inch primary display, and a battery that's large enough to last for a full day of folding and unfolding. It's not perfect.The cameras are conservative and charging is slower than competitors.
