Proton HyperX Overview
Proton HyperX was launched in Bangladesh on 20 February 2026 and it is evident that Proton has intentions of competing with more than the entry-level crowd. The HyperX uses the MediaTek Helio G100 (6nm) chipset as its engine, with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, and is running on Android 16. The octa-core processor (2.2GHz Cortex-A76 x 2 + 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 x 6) and Mali-G57 MC2 graphics card.
On the front, there is a big 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole. It has HD+ (720x1612), but with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.6 percent, content is immersive. It is photography where it really matters. The 108MP main camera, which is backed by two other sensors, is the 108MP Sony IMX782 that takes detailed shots with HDR, Night Mode, AI recognition of scenes, and others. Selfie fans receive a potent 50MP front camera, and each has the capacity of recording 1080p video.
