Highlights
Honor 90 Lite, if you check out its design, that would be its first highlight. The center hole-punch screen has extremely thin bezels on three sides and on the bottom side it’s also fairly small, giving it a unique visual. Then comes the rear camera design that looks like an infinity symbol and the back part has a slight glossy and matt finish. It’s not a fingerprint magnet at all and radiates a premium look. It is also just 7.5 mm slim and weighs only 169 grams. We liked the Midnight Black color most here. But there are also two other options: Titanium Silver and Cyan Lake. It has a plastic body without any kind of protection anywhere or any dust or splash resistance, which are some noticeable disadvantages.
The screen technology isn’t AMOLED but the FHD+ IPS LCD quality here still presents vibrant and pleasing color tones. A faster 90Hz refresh rate and eye-comfort certification with reduced blue light are some positive sides. The 100+5+2 MP rear camera has a main lens, an ultrawide and a macro lens. Photo shots look impressive in all the reviews that we checked. The same goes for the 16 MP selfie shooter. But the 1080p video recording quality with no stabilization isn’t fitting around this price. There should be 4K resolution or at least EIS for stable recording.
The 4500 mAh battery is smaller, but it still gives good backup because of Honor’s fine optimization. You can expect around 1.5 days backup for standard operation. The charger capacity is 22.5W and the charging time is around one hour and fifteen minutes. Dimensity 6020 is a decent 5G chipset from MediaTek. Regular gaming should be okay and internet browsing should be fast. But it’s not a strong gaming phone. You can expect similar performance to the MediaTek Helio G99. So, the pricing is definitely very high considering its performance specifications. We got an AnTuTu (v10) score of 402354. That’s below average for the cost. You’ll find much better phones for gaming if you are willing to invest that much money. Its 8 GB RAM (+5 GB virtual RAM) and 256 GB ROM are of benefit. The audio quality is also great.
