Poco became an individual brand entity a while ago. Currently, they are operating as a sub-brand of Xiaomi so, Poco phones still come with Xiaomi branding. We didn’t have any release from the Poco series in Bangladesh since it became an individual brand entity despite having great demand. But now finally Xiaomi introduces Poco in Bangladesh with three of its new releases Poco X3 NFC (৳25,999 6/64 GB, ৳27,999 6/128 GB), Poco M2 (৳15,999 6/64 GB, ৳16,999 6/128 GB) and Poco C3 (৳11,999 3/32 GB, ৳12,999 4/64 GB).
Poco X3 NFC
Poco X3 NFC is a very competitive mid-range smartphone with tons of great features. You may as well call it as an ultimate 2020 4G mid-range smartphone. There is a big 6.67″ Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. However, the panel is IPS and a Super AMOLED panel could be a deal-breaker. But the difference of quality isn’t that huge as you may think. The body is also IP53-certified splash resistant which is quite rare in mid-range smartphones. The back-side is made of plastic though without any Gorilla Glass protection. It’s quite normal and not a big deal but Xiaomi has Gorilla Glass back in most of its mid-range phones so it’s a little disappointment. Moreover, the textured back is nothing more than a print.
The quad back camera with 64MP main snapper comes with a Sony IMX682 sensor that can produce great shots. There is a 4K video recording. On the front, there is a fine quality 20 MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. The 5160 mAh battery has 33W fast charging support that can charge 0 to 100% in just about 65 minutes.
Performance has always been the key point of Xiaomi phones and we are glad to see that they didn’t make any compromise in that here as well. We have an excellent 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset, 6 GB RAM and Adreno 618 GPU. You will hardly find a gaming phone in this price range that can beat Poco X3 NFC. On top of that, there is LiquidCool 1.0 Plus Technology to keep the phone cool during long-time gaming sessions or other graphics-intensive tasks. We have MIUI 12 on top of Android 10. Android 11 update is well-expected.
Among other features, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, 24-bit/192kHz audio, fast UFS 2.1 internal storage and a shared SIM slot.
This is more of an upgraded low-mid range smartphone from Poco by Xiaomi. We have a fine Full HD+ screen which is not always available in this price range. The 5000 mAh battery support 18W charging but you will get a 10W charger in the box which is one of its drawbacks. The phone is power by a 12nm MediaTek Helio G80 chipset and 6 GB RAM which will provide an excellent gaming experience. It is one of the best gaming phones you can grab right now at this price range. Both front and back camera quality should be overall satisfactory.
This device is released for the lower budget consumers. It has an overall balanced and competitive specs for the cost. The major feature is the Helio G35 chipset which is one of the best you can get for gaming at this price range. Another plus point is its stylish design. The drawback is that there is no fingerprint sensor.
