Xiaomi 13 Lite teaser

We are very excited to see the Xiaomi 13 Lite for the official Bangladeshi market. In fact, we were waiting and hoping for its release. But we didn’t come across any official announcement or release notice from Xiaomi Bangladesh about this smartphone. It just popped up in Xiaomi BD official website and in some online marketplaces for official phones where it’s already out of stock.

Xiaomi 13 Lite is priced at BDT 49,999 for the 8/256 GB model, which isn’t too far expensive than the unofficial market where the phone already arrived and is available around 42-43K price. After all, it was first released in March 8th and it’s over 7 months already.

Xiaomi 13 Lite is the Lite version of the 2023 Xiaomi flagship 13 series. It comes with some pretty nice colors, a very nice design and some attractive features. Just look at its design and colors below.

Yes, it has a dual front camera setup, something you may have noticed from the pictures, a very rare feature in smartphones nowadays. The main lens is 32 MP and there is an additional 8 MP 100º ultrawide lens which is indeed useful for a front facing camera. The back camera also has an ultrawide lens and can record 4K videos with its 50MP main lens.

The backside is made of glass, but we do really miss an aluminum metal frame. It could be so perfect with it. There is Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and we also got an IP certification for dust and splash resistance. The AMOLED display supports 68B colors, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rate.

A full battery charging takes about 40 minutes max, as advertised by Xiaomi with the 67W charger. However, we do wish that there was a 5000 mAh battery instead of a 4500 mAh one. But the screen is 6.55-inch, so, it will consume less battery than those big 6.7” or 6.78” displays.

It comes with Android 12 out of the box and it should be upgradable to Android 14 (sometime next year we hope). There is security update till August 2026, so, if you buy it now, you can be carefree about its software security and stability for about 3 years, which is decent but not over the top.

And last but not the least, we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset which is a pretty decent 5G gaming chipset. But you’ll get better performance for this price in some other phones. But with this Xiaomi phone, you have to consider the whole package. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor on this gadget.
