The new V series smartphone from Vivo, Vivo V21 is now available in Bangladesh. The price is fixed at ৳32,990 for its 8/128 GB version.
The mid-range phone comes with an eye-catching design. It is just 7.3 millimeters thin. The colors on the back and the camera setup look premium. There is a 6.44 inches HDR10+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate which is an excellent deal. However, there is no screen protection included such as Gorilla Glass. The backside is also made of plastic which are some of its disadvantages.
On the back, we have a triple 64+8+2 MP setup with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. The 44 MP front camera comes with OIS as well. So, in terms of stabilization, it’s great both on the front and the back. Photography and video shooting both are quite fine with the device especially when it comes to video shooting.
The 4000 mAh battery isn’t that big but it’s decent. You couldn’t expect a bigger battery with a 7.3mm slim design. The 33W FlashCharge is a good deal. It can charge 0 to 63% in just about half an hour.
The performance is decent for but it’s not great. You will have much better performance from Xiaomi phones at this price, even from some Samsung and Realme phones. If you are not a hardcore gamer, it will do fine for everyday usage and multitasking.
There is an in-display fingerprint sensor but there is no 3.5mm Jack which is one of its main disadvantages. If you want to use earphones, you need to have a Bluetooth earphone. There is also no NFC.
Vivo V21 runs on Android 11 and we may as well get the Android 12 update in the future.
