Symphony Bangladesh brings a low-budget Symphony i96 with a fine design

Symphony i96, the newest smartphone from Symphony Bangladesh in March 2023 is priced at ৳7,999. It is available in a few different colors such as Graphite Black, Honey Dew Green, Lunar Gray and Amazon Green.

The first thing that will catch your eye is its design. It has that newer generation iPhone kind of design, something you wouldn’t expect for a price as low as ৳7,999. But Symphony made a big compromise with this device. The phone is running on a quad-core CPU instead of an octa-core one. This means a significant drop in performance. Yes, there is a 12 nm MediaTek Helio A22 chipset instead of one of those 28 nm UniSOC chipsets. There are also many phones around this price or even at a higher price that come with quad-core CPUs. But we just have the best expectation from Symphony when it comes to low-budget phones. They have been quite consistent in bringing low-budget phones with the best specs in the last couple of years. But recently we are seeing compromises.

Apart from the fine design, Symphony i96 comes with a big 6.6 inches HD+ display. There is a 5 MP camera on the front and on the back. Both cameras can record Full HD videos. There is a decent 4150 mAh battery, but there is no mention of fast charging. So, we assume that the charger is not 10W and is most probably a 5W one. 

There is Android 12 Go Edition, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage and a back-mounted fingerprint sensor in this phone among other mentionable specs.
