Poco X3 Pro: New mid-range killer from Xiaomi released

Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro Bangladesh

Poco became popular with its first release Pocophone F1 back in 2018. The price was similar to the new Poco X3 Pro, the new Xiaomi mid-range killer of 2021. So what’s special?

Let’s get right into its performance which has always been the main focus of top-notch Poco phones. Xiaomi didn’t make any compromise at all here. Poco X3 Pro is packed with a generous and powerful flagship 7 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset. The octa-core CPU has up to 2.96 GHz clock speed and we have Adreno 640 as GPU. Gaming and multitasking should be butter smooth especially if you grab the 8 GB RAM version. There is LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus as usual to keep your phone cool to ensure long sessions of graphics-related tasks without any interruption. There is MIUI 12 for POCO based on Android 11 out of the box. Android 12 update is pretty sure and we may as well get up to Android 13 in the future.

There is a fast UFS 3.1 128 GB internal storage. There is also a MicroSD slot but it is shared with the second SIM slot. The 5160 mAh battery comes with 33W fast charging. It’s quite a good deal for the price. You can charge 0 to 100% in less than an hour.

There is a Full HD+ IPS LCD. There is no AMOLED and yes, that’s a noticeable compromise. But we have a 120Hz HDR 10 display at this price. On top of that, there is a Gorilla Glass 6. Xiaomi nailed it. But well, point to be noted that the back is made of plastic and there is no protection on the back like you will get in many of the Xiaomi mid-range phones. It’s still fair because look at the display and performance.

We have a quad back camera setup with a 48 MP main snapper. On the front, we have an f/2.2 20 MP camera. These are some decent mid-range cameras. But to be honest, you will get better cameras for the price. The camera is not the top focus of this phone. We still have 4K recording in the back camera as well as EIS.

Among other features, we have advanced audio quality, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 35mm jack, Infrared, NFC, FM Radio with recording, USB Type-C and so on. If you are a performance person and looking for a great mid-range phone, this is some of the best you can get right now.
