Nothing Phone (2) upcoming in Bangladesh: What are we getting?

You may already find the new Nothing Phone (2) in some of the retail shops in Bangladesh without an official warranty. Yes, we are talking about those so-called legal unofficial phones that come with service and parts replacement warranty. But the phone is expected to be available officially very soon as well, so we are focusing on the official version.

The price is expected to be around ৳80,000. So, if you are looking for a flagship-level phone, you should read on. But if we are thinking flagship here, the phone remains behind. Now, it’s still a great phone, don’t get us wrong. We are talking from the perspective of what kind of expectations we have from a flagship phone. The design, build quality, display etc. you can’t complain at all. Even the connectivity features look fine. The cameras could definitely be better. There is no periscope Zoom lens. There are also better cameras for this price in the market.

Then you could expect a bigger battery than 4700 mAh and a faster charger than 45W. Yes, we have Wireless Charging and it was needed. There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (4 nm) flagship chipset so, performance should be butter smooth. We are getting an in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers as well. But apart from the lack of a camera section, there are not enough innovative features. We are talking about something like Apple‘s iOS ecosystem or Samsung‘s DeX or Stylus feature etc. No, the LED back panel doesn’t replace them at all in terms of features or value for money. Therefore, yes, it’s a fine-hyped phone, stylish and unique with some fair flagship features. But it’s not coming among the top for us.
