Samsung released its new A series 4G smartphones Samsung Galaxy A05s and Samsung Galaxy A05. These phones can be viewed on the Samsung Malaysia site and are expected to be in store from the next month. The S model is more premium than the regular model here which was the case for the Galaxy A04 model as well. Both phones come with a U-shape notch on the front.

Galaxy A05s comes with a Full HD+ display, 90Hz refresh rate, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset which is well-known for good battery life and decent, stable performance. There is 6 GB RAM and 128 GB eMMC 5.1 storage. It runs on Android 13 and Samsung announced four further Android updates on this phone according to SamMobile.

The lower-cost A05 comes with a 60Hz refresh rate HD+ display and no fingerprint sensor. The chipset is a MediaTek Helio G85 which is a good gaming chipset on a lower-cost phone. Here we are getting the same RAM and ROM as well. This one also comes with Android 13 out of the box but there is no information about any further Android update here.

The camera of the A05s is better with a 13 MP setup on the front compared to the 8 MP setup of the A05. The S model also offers an additional 2 MP dedicated macro lens for the back camera. Both phones have 1080p@30/60fps Full HD video recording option for the rear camera.
Both phones have USB Type-C, large 6.7″ displays, 5000 mAh battery with 25W charging, MicroSD slot, 3.5mm jack and so on.
