Low-specs, waterproof, mid-range Oppo A77 released in Bangladesh

Oppo Bangladesh recently released another ne smartphone for Bangladeshi consumers namely Oppo A77. The phone is priced at ৳22,990 for its 4/128 GB.

Above 20k phones usually come under the mid-range category. You would expect a full HD+ scren, competitive chipset, fine camera, stylish design and so on. But let’s see what have we got here. We have an average-looking waterdrop notch display with no protection. Well, but the body is waterproof. It is one of the main reasons why this phone costs so much. But then the display is HD+. We have 90Hz refresh rate though and there are features such as NFC and USB Type-C. So, there are a few plus points here. The 50 MP back cmaera and the 8 MP front camera are decent but you could expect something better for the price especially when it comes to the front camera.

The 5000 mAh battery supports 33W fast charging which is great news. But th RAM is only 4 GB. There should be at least 6 GB RAM for the price. The Helio G35 chipset takes it out of consideration in terms of performance. You’ll find Helio G35 chipset around 10K price. There is no justification for such a high price only because of a waterproof body. Yes there is 128 GB ROM, stereo speakers and a stylish side-mounted fingerprint sensor. But it still remains ay behind in terms of value for money.
