It’s been a while since we have seen an Honor smartphone officially available in Bangladesh. There was a presence of smartwatches, smart bands and tabs from them for the last couple of years. We have seen unofficial phones in the market from them as well. However, they are now officially back with three new smartphones namely Honor X7a ৳18,999 (6/128 GB), Honor X8a ৳25,499 (8/128 GB) and Honor X9a ৳36,999 (8/256 GB).

Honor parted from Huawei and became an Individual brand entity in November 2020. The company Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co. Ltd bought the brand which is a part of the municipal government of Shenzhen. As they are not a part of Huawei, Google Play store services returned to their phones without any issue.

As of October 1st, 2023, the brand doesn’t yet have a dedicated local page for Bangladesh on its official website. There is also no activity on their social media pages. These new phones can be found in some of the retail stores with official brand warranty. There was also a report from some popular reviewers in the country about their new official products.

This one is noticeable, especially for its big 6000 mAh battery which is a rare feature in lower-budget phones. According to Honor, it has a 3-day battery for regular usage the charging with the 22.5W charger is also fairly decent.

All these devices run on Honor Magic UI 6.1 on top of the older Android 12 version and we do not know if an Android 13 update will be available in them.
